might i interest yall in some..... grimm gijinkas? (pretend i wasnt gone for months ty)

The designs on their own and more info/design deets under the cut!

Vaguely based on kokeshi dolls. and i mean VERY vaguely, like just a passing thought

I wanted them to have the vibe of a little prince that's still innocent and sweet yk still finding out stuff abt the world and isn't quite ready to take over anything

Here i wanted them to look like they've found out about their role and are slowly fitting into it little by little, like they're learning what taking over the troupe is all about and stuff. They're still a kid but they're trying to look mature yk

Now here i just wanted them to look like a little grimm since the charm looks like a little grimm, grimm was the first design i made and this was the last and idk i just felt like it fit since you only get tier 4 AFTER grimm is dead and the grimmchild absorbs him so technically they should be pretty ready to take over the troupe. Also, the gem on their neck/chest area is supposed to be what shows that they're yk the troupe master and working under the nightmare heart, the other grimmkids don't have it since grimm's still alive when they're alive.

The big boss himself!! He was the first one i designed and i'm honestly rlly happy with it, I know most ppl design him with short hair but i wanted to make him look pretty similar to Radi for HC reasons (personally i see them as some sort of siblings since nightmares and dreams are opposites and yk it would be a fun dynamic considering grimm cleans up after dead civilizations and Radi's civilization isn't exactly alive now is it, i have a couple comics in mind), and also i am just predictable and if i have the opportunity to give a character long two toned hair i'll take it. Also i just wanted an excuse to draw pretty boy with long hair and vamp-y outfit, sue me!!!

I didnt rlly portray the sleeves like the vision i had for them, there's two wide silk "ribbons" for each sleeve that loosely wrap around his arm in a spiral pattern. Also his entire body's black besides his neck, same thing applies to the rest of the grimms

Now HE. GAVE ME SOME TROUBLE. The dark red was so hard to incorporate but i had to because it was iconic to NKG's design

I tried i rlly tried to not make it just the waistcoat but it clashed with the hair wayyyy too much. I kinda like the first one tho but in the end i just went with all black cape

Also speaking of the waistcoat i didn't draw it here but it's corseted at the back, something like this style but like obvs not these colors do you see the vision

I was also considering giving him a coat instead of the cape but then i felt like it was getting a bit too bulky so i decided against it, idk, might redesign him in the future since i'm not 100% happy with him

and thats p muchh it i listened to sexycunty fashion playlist and drew along with the vibes wahoo nkg ily

thk minor headcanon and notes on their design because i'm artblocked and they're the only thing taking me out of it (apologies for my handwriting lemme provide a translation for you <3)

-light scuff marks all over mask - neck is exposed void -fully mute and doesn't need food rlly

-arm constantly tries (and fails) to reconstruct itself with void -fails mainly because its will isn't strong enough -when they stabbed themselves their exoskeleton cracked down the middle an up their shoulder from strain -crack got fixed by coagulated void but it's very sensitive

-multiple cracks alongside arm from chains, stress & past training -exoskeleton isn't pure black but it's super dark

-in fight infection pops up in cracked eye -normally they're both pure void -cracks are post-fight, ty little ghost
