Note before I start: Shmorky is disgusting and I hate them too but In asking as another nonbinary person to please not misgender them since it sends the message that our pronouns are only respected if we're deemed good enough. I think this widespread pedophilia in the animation industry is the result of us running into the worst possible outcome of fandom culture excusing pedophilia under the mantra of “ship and let ship” and “don’t kinkshame”…. A lot of people have been involved in fandoms since the 00s and now that many of them have grown up to get jobs in the industry, it"s only gotten worse. This generation has been groomed to accept pedophilia and it scares me.

There’s so much content with pedophiles involved in it in some way that there isn’t much left without them. This leaves you with two choices: Stop watching mainstream cartoons or put up with it, and try to not think about the people behind it. But that doesn’t do anything to fix the fact that children are admiring people responsible of making porn of their peers, and knowing how some passionate kiss look for other projects of their idols….

The widespread acceptance of pedophilia can be seen in related industries like comics too. I don’t know much about printed comics, but I can name several webcomic artists that endorced pedophilia at some point. And I know of one in particular who used to draw porn of a 14 year old getting fucked by adults, posted in plain view of actual 14 year olds (like me at the time.) That’s actually a big part of what groomed me to think that stuff was okay for awhile.

But as an aspiring webcomic artist myself I’m in the same situation as the people opposed to pedophilia in the animation industry, especially since the most popular artists are fairly close knit.

Fucking sick of pedophilia in the animation industry

With information sent to me by various people I’ve organized a callout post for pedophilia in the animation industry.

This will only be about western animators (except for the inclusion of Studio Trigger, who have worked on several western productions) as in the Japanese industry pedophilia is sadly too rampant to bother noting.

For those who don’t know, Frederator is the co-producer of Adventure Time, and Zone is a porn artist who does rape animations of various cartoon characters (like MLaaTR, a children’s cartoon which Frederator is one of the producers of).

It’s not a big deal if some wanker wants to draw robot sex but as a network why the hell would you have a direct link to someone who does rape porn of one of your products aimed at kids?

Even adult networks like HBO don’t do this!

The artist Probertson (real name: Paul Robertson) has done major work on Disney’s Gravity Falls. Some of his animations are sexual and feature child looking characters. The naive may assume he’s just working in the chibi style, but on his Pixiv he has favorited pictures like this (I’ll have to screencap because the Pixiv can’t be archived):

It’s still worthy to note that before the drama with Shmorky hit it big in 2016 when his sex roleplays and info about him grooming a minor was leaked, he already had a well known reputation as a creep. Shmorky was sharing his furry pedophile scat art on the internet as far back as 2003. His friends like KC Green swallowed the excuse that he had only drawn it for money.

Either the guys at adult swim didn’t bother to do even a simple google of Shmorky before hiring him, or they saw the porn and decided it didn’t matter as long as he could do the work for them (because let’s be real, nobody but a naive friend would buy the “I was just doing it for the money” excuse.)

Why didn’t Shmorky’s pedophile furry porn and Paul Robertson’s naked little girls raise any red flags at Cartoon Network and Disney?

Ian JQ, who worked on Steven Universe and is in a relationship with Rebecca Sugar (who has drawn Ed Edd n Eddy erotica), had lolicon in his tumblr likes.

Note the second link where someone tells of how the Steven Universe crew tried to gaslight their critics by claiming the lolicon Ian JQ favorited was just an innocent picture, and the people disgusted by it were the only ones associating sexual connotations to it.

That is typical pedophile behavior, were it is claimed those revolted by perverse trash are the real perverts.

It will likely be one of the excuses child porn aficionados are going to try to fling at this callout.

No, this is not the same as if a nobody fanartist drew Jessie in clothing from an erotic series. This guy works on the actual Toy Story series, an official artist drawing characters from children’s media they’re working on in outfits taken from erotica legitimizes the idea that it’s cool to depict characters aimed at children like this.

Little Witch Academia is a children’s anime airing on Netflix. The creator of it, Yoh Yoshinari, has a Pixiv account for fanservice pics, some depicting girls from the show. These characters are all underage children in the anime. While the account doesn’t state that it’s Yoshinari, proof can be found in one of his artbooks which contains concept sketches of the picture:

LWA is made by Studio Trigger who have worked with Pixar, Mariel Cartwright (Indivisible) and the Steven Universe crew (what’s that saying? birds of a feather yadda yadda). They made the fanservice anime talked about above that Jessie is dressed as (Kill la Kill).

To any comments like that I say fuck off. I have an Asian friend who’s only been living here a few years and haven’t fully learned English yet. She likes animation so I showed her KLK and asked what she thought of it. Her only reply was “That is garbage.”

If you think all Asian women adore and feel empowered by drawn erotica with rape themes you’re the one who’s a racist. Sure, some gals like it, but if you pulled an average woman off the street and showed KLK to her I doubt she’d think it was anything other than bizarre cartoon porn.

I am not against artists drawing pornography, but I am against anyone who has ever drawn or liked child porn working in children’s media, and I am disgusted by those in the industry who excuse and overlook the behavior documented in this post because they’re friends with those called out.
