Backstage Translation - Sharing Out Cuteness (Part 2)
Sakuya: Muku-kun, have you had this chocolate before? Looks like it's being sold at a nearby supermarket for a limited time next week.
Muku: Ah! That truffle's from a brand that's super popular online. You can't order it, so I thought I wouldn't be able to eat it.
Sakuya: Let's go check it out together, then!
Muku: Yeah!
Homare: Ooh, here you two are!
Sakuya: Homare-san?
Muku: What is it?
Homare: Right. I have a present for you two.
Muku & Sakuya: These tea bags are…!
Homare: They're the rabbit ones you showed me the other day. I happened upon them at a supermarket just earlier.
As you said, Sakuya-kun, there are animals other than rabbits, and so I bought a whole variety of them. I'll give these ones to you.
Sakuya: Thank you very much, I'm so happy!
Muku: Let's drink them right away! I'll boil the water.
Sakuya: I'll prepare the cups, then.
Homare: …
Homare: Fu fu fu…
Hisoka: …You're in a good mood.
Homare: Ooh, you're here, Hisoka-kun!
You see, Sakuya-kun and Muku-kun were very pleased with the animal tea bags I gifted them.
Their happiness made buying them worth it. I know! I shall give one to you as well, Hisoka-kun!
Hisoka: …Marshmallows'd be better.
Homare: Hmm… for you, perhaps a cat rather than a rabbit? Or maybe a penguin…?
Hisoka: …You're not listening.
Izumi: …Phew.
(Shouldn't be too long now until these documents are done… wait, it's that late already?)
(Well, I'll keep going until I reach a good stopping point anyway.)
*door opens*
Homare: Oh my, I was wondering who it was. If it isn't Director-kun.
Izumi: Homare-san! So you're still awake.
Homare: Indeed. I was making good progress on my writing, and before I knew it, night had befallen us.
Izumi: It's hard to stop when you're on a roll, isn't it.
Homare: Are you working as well?
Izumi: Yeah. I plan on going for a bit longer.
Homare: Wonderful timing, then. I was about to brew some tea, would you care for some as well?
Izumi: Oh, I'd love some!
Homare: Thank you for waiting.
Izumi: Wow, cute! It looks like the rabbit's soaking in a bathtub!
Homare: Doesn't it just? Sakuya-kun and Muku-kun told me about them.
Izumi: Seems like the type of thing those two would like. It smells lovely too, just looking at it is soothing.
Homare: I shall gift you some too. They're a good companion for work.
Option 1: I'll take you up on that
Izumi: I'll take you up on that, then.
Homare: For you, maybe a cat, or a dog… no, you should have both of them.
Izumi: I can have two?
Homare: Of course. After all, it was thanks to you that I came upon them at all.
Izumi: It was?
Homare: They were at the supermarket we stopped by during the day.
Izumi: Oh, it was then! I noticed you bought some stuff, but I didn't think they would be this cute.
Option 2: I'd feel bad
Izumi: I'd feel bad, though.
It'd be better to give these to Sakuya-kun and Muku-kun…
Homare: No need to worry about that. They were the first ones I gifted these to. Therefore, you can accept them without restraint.
Izumi: You're sure? In that case… I'll take these.
Izumi: Thank you very much. I'll use them when I want to feel relaxed.
Sakyo: …
Izumi: Sa-Sakyo-san, do you think it's maybe time to take a break?
Sakyo: …Good call.
Homare: If you're taking a breather, you should try one of these tea bags!
Sakyo: Excuse me?
Homare: For you… I know. This lion one is rather good, isn't it?
Or perhaps your preference lies with this herbal tea penguin?
Itaru: …Homare-san's been handing out a lot of those recently, hasn't he? I got some too.
Hisoka: …He said he went to buy more just to hand them out.
Izumi: Everyone's pleased with them, so I think it's great.
Yuki: Well, it's not like it's an issue to get tea bags.
Tsuzuru: Even so, Arisugawa-san butting in when Furuichi-san looks like THAT is… pretty amazing.
Taichi: When Sakyo-nii's irritated from the numbers not adding up, I can't talk to him! Not at all!
Hisoka: …Alice doesn't know fear.

Backstage Translation - Sharing Out Cuteness (Part 1)
Sakuya: These chocolates are delicious, Muku!
Muku: Yay, I'm glad! When I heard these yogurt and strawberry chocolates were only being sold this Spring, I figured it'd be nice to bring them to today's tea party.
Homare: Quite right. They've a truly lovely taste. Not being too rich, you find yourself reaching for another one.
Sakuya: And they go perfectly with the tea Homare-san prepared!
Muku: Yeah! Alice-san's tea is really tasty, I love it.
Homare: That's wonderful. I purchased this blend recently from a specialty store, if you two are fond of it I'll endeavour to buy from there again.
Muku: Wow, are you sure?
Sakuya: Thank you so much!
Muku: By the way, you're helping out at that café too, right Alice-san? I definitely want to go and check it out!
Sakuya: I'm excited too. Homare-san's really good at brewing tea, so I'm sure he'll be a big help!
Homare: Thank you. It's a rabbit-themed café, so I'm looking forward to seeing what poems will sprout from it.
Sakuya: Speaking of rabbits, I saw some adorable tea bags the other day. Should be on my phone…
Ah, here!
Homare: What's this now…
Muku: Wow, they're so cute!
Homare: There's a rabbit clinging to the rim of the tea cup, as if soaking in a bathtub.
Sakuya: Looks like there's dogs and cats too, and even unusual animals like otters.
Muku: It seems easy to drink, and would probably make a good gift. Choosing the perfect animal for who you give it to sounds fun as well.
Homare: I see… I myself would never have imagined tea bags such as this exist.
Homare: (When I went to stock up on those tea leaves Sakuya-kun and Muku-kun like, I ended up taking the opportunity to buy a whole variety of things. I'll try to use them at the next tea party.)
Izumi: -Ah, Homare-san!
Homare: Oh my, are you also out to buy something, Director-kun?
Izumi: I'm on my way back from a meeting. Are you buying something?
Homare: Indeed I was. I'm heading home having just finished my business. If you're also returning, shall we go together?
Izumi: I… want to say yes, but I'm thinking maybe I will go shopping.
Homare: Allow me to accompany you, then.
Izumi: You sure? Thanks a lot!
Izumi: Fufu. Having Homare-san push the cart really is refreshing.
Homare: Is that so? You must have seen this many times already.
Izumi: Yeah, but that's not the poi- ah, onions and carrots! And minced meat, too!
Homare: What a fluid way of tossing the ingredients in. Perfect! I feel a poem coming up!
A silver runway for a vegetable and meat harmony, clad in spicy finery!
Izumi: Ahaha. That poem's really put me in the mood for curry. Though, today I was thinking of using eggs for-
Wait, I forgot the ketchup! I'll go get it now, wait here for me please.
Homare: Understood.
*footsteps*
Homare: …I was certain she was going for keema curry, but I suppose it was omurice.
…Oh? Oh me oh my?

Classmate A: ♪~
Azami: …
Classmate B: Azami, you should sing too.
Azami: Huh? A-aah…
Classmate A: May as well do some rapping, right?
Classmate C: Sounds good! That performance earlier was super sharp~
Azami: No need to talk about it.
Classmate A: Ahaha, we're kidding!
Classmate B: The third years' dancing was also amazing.
Classmate C: I know, right! I wanna do that when I'm a third year too!
Azami: …
*LIME notification*
(…A LIME message?)
…
Classmate A: Something happen?
Azami: No… it's nothing.
I'll do one song while I'm here.
Classmate B: That's the spirit!
Classmate C: Let's gooo~!
Kumon: Ah, you came!
Azami: Why'd you call out so suddenly.
Kumon: Isn't it obvious! I wanted us to have an after party together!
Azami: Not that I have any right to say this, but weren't you doing that with your own class?
Kumon: That's a different matter! I wanted to have one with you, Azami.
Azami: After party or not, we don't have to do absolutely everything together…
Or rather, we could've done this in the dorm instead of coming all the way out here.
Kumon: That wouldn't be any different to how things usually are. Plus, having it here really gives it that nice, like… youthful feeling!
Azami: Sigh…
Kumon: Alright! I bought a drink for you too, so let's have a toast!
We've got carbonated orange and grape. Though I was thinking of having a strawberry au lait.
Azami: Stop messing around.
Kumon: Ahaha, sorry!
Okay, cheers~!
Azami: Cheers.
*bottles opening*
Kumon: Puhaaa! So good!
Azami: Why are you drinking it like that… there's no alcohol in here, is there?
Kumon: Of course not!
Hehe, I had so much fun at the festival with the troupe, and I even got to see Shift later!
Ah, speaking of, I got a video of the stage! I've gotta show Director and the others when we get home!
At the after party I was at before, the girls in my class kept talking about how cool you were!
Azami: That's nice of them.
Kumon: At this rate, I wonder if you'll even be confessed to~?
Azami: What!? That's impossible!
Kumon: Huh, I wonder~?
But for real, you were super cool up there!
Azami: …Yeah yeah.
Kumon: And me? How was I?
Azami: …You were pretty good, weren't you?
Kumon: Hooraaay!
Azami: So? How was your last school festival?
Kumon: It was a super fun memory, of course!

I'll help out until the next guy's here, let's go!

I thought for sure you'd be going around with someone, but here you are!
Azami: Too many people, didn't feel like it.
Kumon: But that's the best part of a school festival.
Azami: Anyway, that was quick.
Kumon: The guy in charge later got the message and hurried over to swap out with me.
Thanks for coming earlier too, Azami!
Azami: …It was nothing.
Kumon: When I heard that guy fell ill, it didn't really feel like someone else's problem. It may be for my own satisfaction, but… I wanted to do what I could to help out.
Azami: I figured as much.
Kumon: It sounds like they recovered after some rest though, so that's good.
Looks like we can go around together, Azami!
Azami: …You really need to be so fixated on that?
Kumon: 'Cause this is the first and last time we'll both be able to do it as students of Tsuku High!
Since it's the school festival, don't you wanna make some memories? There'll be no other opportunity for us to enjoy ourselves together like this!
Azami: --.
You're saying embarrassing stuff as usual, huh.
Kumon: Huh!? I'm embarrassing!?
Azami: Not what I said.
Kumon: Anyway, we've gotta hurry! The festival's gonna end at this rate!
Azami: Yeah yeah.

Azami: Yeah. Got to talk to Shift too.
Kumon: What! I would've come if you'd messaged meee!

Presenter: Now then, let's open with the first years!

Good luck on your comeback. I'll be watching.

Kumon: Class 3-1's bubble tea house here! Come over if you wanna try it~!
Muku: Ah, Kyu-chan!
Kumon: Guys!
Misumi: Good to see you~!
Kumon: Thanks for coming! Did you see Azami?
Juza: He happened to be in front of a classroom we passed earlier.
Misumi: I got to have a chat with the school nurse too~
Kumon: Really!? That's great!
Muku: Are you advertising right now, Kyu-chan?
Kumon: Yeah! I made this signboard with my classmates. Isn't it great?
Muku: It's so colourful and cute.
Kumon: My role should be over soon. I promised I'd go around with Azami afterwards, but do you guys want to come too?
Muku: No, he didn't seem too interested in us when we ran into him.
Juza: You're both busy. We'll look around ourselves a bit more.
Kumon: I see… make sure to have fun, then!
Ah, and try the bubble tea house too!
Muku: Fufu, right!
Misumi: Do your best Kumon~!
Kumon: Yeah!
Kumon: Class 3-1's bubble tea house! It's super delicious!
Azami: …
Kumon: Oh! It's Azami!
Azami: Yo.
Kumon: What are you doing?
Azami: What am I…? I'm the receptionist.
Kumon: Eh!? You're not playing a monster!?
Azami: Never said I was.
Kumon: I-I guess…
Maaan! I thought you were, so I was really excited to go in later…
Azami: I mean, you can still go in.
Kumon: I'll be finishing up soon, how about you?
Azami: I'm… almost done too.
Kumon: Let's go around together then!
Sakoda: --Ah! Aniki, Azami's over here~!
Ichiro: Ooh, working hard?
Azami: Why'd you all come together…
Kumon: It's a full party!
Sakoda: Of course! Aniki was real excited for today, after all~
Sakyo: Who was excited.
Ichiro: Boss wanted to come too, but seems like he couldn't shake off his work.
Azami: Thank god. Woulda been a hassle if he came.
Kumon: C'mon, be honest~
Sakoda: So your class is doing a haunted house, huh, Azami? Let's give it a go while we're here!
Sakyo: Don't, we'll scare the monsters.
Kumon: Maybe we can go in once Azami and I are going around together~
Azami: Why do I have to do my own class' thing.
Classmate A: Ah, Kumon!
Kumon: Oh, what is it?
Classmate A: Apparently one of the people in charge of sales fell ill and is resting in the infirmary.
I'm looking for someone who can fill in.
Kumon: What!? Are they alright!?
Classmate A: They're sleeping, so seems so. But we're short on hands.
I contacted the people who are on duty later to see if they can come early, but I've not got a response…
I'd do it myself if I could, but I've gotta go to my club's exhibit soon…

Kumon: This board came out looking great too~
Classmate A: I know, right! We're gonna be done with time to spare at this rate.
Classmate B: By the way, is dance practice going well?
Kumon: Yeah! We all practiced in the audiovisual room earlier!
Classmate A: Ooh! I'm looking forward to it.
Homeroom Teacher: Are you guys still at it? I understand getting sucked in, but it's time to go home, you know~
Classmate B: Okaaaay… wait, it's already dark out!
Kumon: For real, I didn't notice at all!
…Ah.
Classmate A: What is it?
Kumon: …
Azami: …
???: BOO!!
Azami: !?
Kumon: Hehe, did I scaaare you? I saw you from my classroom, so I came out!
Azami: Uh… you could just approach me normally.
Kumon: Are you alone?
Azami: Yeah. I was preparing stuff for our class display earlier, and when I was about to walk home with my classmates, I realised I forgot something and came back for it.
Kumon: …Are your classmates not waiting for you?
Azami: I told 'em not to.
Kumon: That's good then~ I thought you were being bullied for a second!
Azami: The hell?
Kumon: Alright, let's go home together then!
Azami: …Are you not going with those guys? They're looking this way, they're from your class right?
Kumon: Yeah! But I'm going the same direction as you anyway!
Azami: Suppose so.
Kumon: Anyway, your class must be fired up, preparing stuff this late.
Azami: That's… the same for you.
Kumon: This is the last festival for us third years, so our excitement's different. But you must be looking forward to your first festival, huh?
I was also really looking forward to it when I was a first year, but…
Azami: …Did something happen?
Kumon: …Well.
It was my first culture festival after entering high school.
When I started here, I was feeling down about not getting into O-High…
But I forgot all about that when the festival rolled around, and had fun talking about this and that while preparing with my classmates, like I am now.
On top of that, the baseball club I was in was going to do a piece at the post-festival party, and we planned to show off our personal pitching techniques that year.
I was going to represent the first years as a pitcher, and show off a bunch of different pitching styles on stage.
I prepared for both at the same time, and the day before the culture festival…
I remember I could barely close my eyes, my heart pounding with both excitement for the festival and nervousness for my part in it.
The day of the culture festival arrived.
Even though I got to school safely, I developed a fever during the opening ceremony.
It was one of my usual stress fevers, and I ended up staying in the infirmary.
In the end, I wasn't able to take part in either my class's piece or the baseball club's.
Kumon: At the time, I was a bother to everyone around me and made them worry, so it's a super frustrating memory for me…
But since joining the theatre, I'm able to get those symptoms under control.
So while it's definitely not a lie to say I want to take part in our traditional performance, applying for it was also due to a personal desire to make a comeback.
I've even danced for a play now, so I think I'll be able to do more than I would've before.
Azami: …I see.
Well, I don't wanna go on about what's already passed, but… for now, it's fine as long as you enjoy it this time, right?
Kumon: …Yeah, that's right!
Azami: I'll be looking forward to your comeback.
Kumon: Hehe, I'm getting more and more fired up! I'm gonna do some training when we get home!
You should practice your rapping too, Azami!
Azami: I'm good.

Azami: …
Kumon: AZAMIIII!
Azami: !?
You surprised me… why'd you come up all of a sudden.
Kumon: No particular reason… I just happened to see you!
Azami: You're too impulsive.
Kumon: What were you doing?
Azami: …Here. High school questionnaire.
Kumon: Right… you're in your last year of middle school, aren't you! You're so mature, I guess I forgot~
Azami: Well, my mental age is probably older than yours, at least.
Kumon: Hey, what's that supposed to mean!
Azami: Means what I said.
Kumon: Ggnnh~…!
…So? You decided where you're going?
Azami: Seems like Shift already has, but… there's not anywhere I'm particularly hoping to go.
My old man and homeroom teacher are both urging me to think about it properly soon.
So for now I'm just thinking of whatever schools are fit for my current academic ability.
Kumon: Ooh! You should come to Tsuku High, then! I'd be really happy if you did!
Azami: Just cause you'd be happy?
Kumon: Isn't that reason enough!
I wanted to try for O-High at first, cause I wanted to be with Nii-chan!
Azami: …Did you pass?
Kumon: No. I had a fever day of the entrance exam and couldn't take it.
But I'm going full power at Tsuku High and enjoying my time there!
I've made lotsa friends, the classes are fun, and the canteen's menu is delicious, so I'm glad Tsuku High's where I ended up!
Azami: Hmm…
Kumon: I'll make a presentation all about it for you, Azami!
Azami: You don't need to go that far.
Azami: …
Izumi: It suits you, Azami.
Banri: Works pretty well.
Omi: Yeah, it's perfect. Really cool.
Juza: Feels different to Kumon.
Taichi: So cooool! A gakuran would be great too, but a blazer really fits~
Azami: Doesn't matter if it suits me or not.
Sakyo: Bon's entering high school…
Banri: Don't look so serious, old man.
Sakyo: Huh? Who are you calling old?
*door opens*
Kumon: Ah! Azami, you're in uniform!
Ooh~! It suits you really nicely, huh!
Azami: That's all I've been hearing.
Kumon: I'm super pumped to be going to the same school as you! Let's keep getting along, Azami!
Azami: …Yeah.
Kumon: I think I've still got pictures from your entrance ceremony on my phone… hang on, I think it's this folder…
Azami: You don't need to get those out.
Kumon: Hehe. But I really was glad you came here!
And I really enjoy being able to have lunch on the rooftop with you like this, too!
I didn't think you'd really come, so on the inside I was kinda surprised.
Azami: …I mean, anywhere I could go would've been fine.
Or like, it's not JUST because you made a whole hand-written presentation about it.
Kumon: Ahaha! It's fine either way. It was worth spending all night compiling Tsuku High's good points!
Azami: Where are you putting your efforts…
Kumon: How about it? Are you enjoying it here?
Azami: …It's alright.
Kumon: What's with that response!? You really aren't honest, are you~

Muku: Today's food was delicious too.
Juza: Yeah. I like how this stew tastes.
Izumi: The stir-fry's also delicious! As expected of Omi-kun.
*door opens*
Kumon: Haa, that was a good workout!
Izumi: Kumon-kun, were you training by yourself?
Kumon: Yep! Or, well, rather than training, I was practicing my dancing.
Since I'll be dancing at the school festival this year, I gotta learn the choreography!
Sakyo: Right, Tsuku High's having its school festival soon, isn't it.
Kumon: Yeah! It's Tsuku High tradition for some third year volunteers to put on a dance show at the post-festival party, with all the most popular songs of the year.
I saw the previous year's performance and decided that I absolutely wanted to take part, so I applied for it!
Sakyo: Sounds like you.
Muku: Is Azami-kun doing something too?
Izumi: (Azami-kun doesn't really seem the type to take part in these things, but…)
Azami: …
Kumon: Azami's doing a rap show that night!
Juza: He's also takin' part in a voluntary performance like that?
Azami: …Seems like some guy from another class saw one of the rap etudes I do with Homare-san sometimes.
I was basically dragged into it against my will.
Izumi: I see…
Sakyo: Sounds like Bon's fitting in well.
Azami: Mind your own business.
Kumon: Only people affiliated with the school are allowed at the post-festival party, though.
I wanted you guys to see my dancing and Azami's rapping~
Azami: Well I didn't.
Kumon: But but, I'll absolutely make sure to video it! And I'll show that video to everyone!
Plus, anyone can enter during the day, so come and have fun. Our classes are putting stuff on too!
Mine is doing a bubble tea house, and Azami's is doing a haunted house.
I actually wanted to do a haunted house too, but I got to do that with everyone in the dorm.
And our bubble tea house is gonna be super hype!
Muku: I'm looking forward to Tsuku High's festival. I'll make sure I'm free then.
Kumon: Great! Ah, that reminds me, Sumi-san said he'd come too!
Juza: Right, that guy also went to Tsuku High, didn't he.
Muku: Let's go talk to him too, then.
Azami: You better not come, shitty Sakyo.
Sakyo: What was that?
Izumi: (Fufu, everyone seems to be having fun.)
Kumon: Lunch, lunch~
Azami: I'm starving…
Kumon: Hey hey, Azami, are you practicing your rapping?
Azami: Eh, here and there… you?
Kumon: Of course! I've got plans to practice after school today! Yamaguchi's joining in too~
Azami: Huh, that's a bit surprising.
Kumon: He said he was invited by his classmates.
Speaking of, let's go around the festival together!
Azami: Hah? Isn't that something you'd normally do with your own classmates?
Kumon: I wanna go around with everyone, and that means you too! C'mon, it'll be fun!
Azami: Well, I guess that's fine…
Kumon: Yaay!
Azami: Anyway, let's eat our food.
Kumon: I'm hungry too! I bought lotsa bread today.
Azami: I've got salad and onigiri… and a yogurt drink.
Kumon: Ah! That sounds good! I'm kinda interested in that one.
Azami: Yuki-san said it's pretty good.
Kumon: Hu~h!
…Y'know, it's just occurred to me, but going to school with you and regularly eating lunch together like this…
I never would've thought it would happen when we joined the troupe~
Azami: I mean, that's 'cause you-

Mini Talk Translation
Request: Write a thank-you letter to your roommate
Homare: At long last, it's my turn to take the stage.
Hmhm… writing a thank-you letter to my roommate, is it? A simple task for one such as myself.
Though, while Hisoka-kun has many things to be grateful to me for, I can't say it goes both ways, so it's actually rather difficult.
If I had to say, I suppose his sleep talking has granted inspiration before.
Just the other day he was muttering about an "ultimate marshmallow…", which I found rather amusing.
Hisoka: …Write a thank-you letter to my roommate?
So, to Alice? What a pain…
Plus, Alice has lots of stuff to thank me for, but I don't have any for him.
…If I had to say, he makes sure we don't run out of marshmallows. That's the only thing I can compliment him on.

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Epilogue - Special Examiner Award)

Muku: It's really nice of Alice-san to go out of his way to throw a closing party for the contest.
Yuki: I mean, he's calling it a "closing party", but it feels like a regular tea party.
Which is all well and good, but… I've got no clue what he's thinking with making the dress code our uniform.
Muku: But isn't it kind of exciting to be in uniform on our day off?
Yuki: I moreso feel like I can't really relax. On top of that, the person who called us out here hasn't shown up himself.
Muku: Hmm, maybe he's having trouble preparing the tea party.
We left it all to him, but I wonder if I should try to help out…
Homare: Apologies, and thank you for waiting. Preparations took a bit longer than expected.
Yuki: Hah?
Muku: A-Alice-san, those clothes…
Homare: It's the closing party for St Flora's Chorus Contest, after all.
It's only polite to clad myself in the same uniform as everyone else!
Yuki: You definitely just wanted to cosplay.
Homare: Now now, isn't it fine? Let's start our tea party right away!
*pouring tea*
Muku: Wow, it smells lovely…!
Yuki: Is this herbal tea?
Homare: Indeed. Now, drink up before it gets cold.
Muku: Thank you.
Yuki: Thanks.
Muku & Yuki: ! It's delicious…!
Homare: That's not just a regular herbal tea. It's a special blend using honey.
Drink up, and heal your weary throats.
Yuki: Thanks. That's actually pretty thoughtful of you, Alice.
Homare: Actually, in the past I ended up overworking my throat in the chorus.
At that time, my grandmother provided me with this same herbal tea.*
Muku: So this herbal tea has very special memories for you, then…
Thank you so much, Alice-san! My throat feels better already.
Homare: Fufu, don't thank me just yet. I've saved the best for last, you see.
Yuki: The best?
Homare: Ahem. While you unfortunately didn't obtain the grand prize…
I found your singing that day to be especially wonderful.
And so, Yuki-kun, Muku-kun, I want to award you Arisugawa Homare's Special Examiner Award.
Muku & Yuki: …!
Homare: First, for Muku-kun…
Voice of warmness, essence of innocence, prince of elegance, espressivo!
And now, for Yuki-kun…
Commanding rhythm, a lemon ribbon, an amabile cantabile linking to the listeners!
Now, I've prepared cards with both these poems and my autograph on. …Please accept them.
Muku: Of course! I'll be sure to treasure this card!
Yuki: No choice but to accept it, I guess.
Though, I think it'd be more fitting if you weren't wearing our uniform, Alice.
Homare: Ha ha ha. This uniform fits me perfectly fine, does it not?
Yuki: No, it's clearly too small.
Muku: …Hey, Yuki-kun.
Yuki: Hm?
Muku: We made a lot of wonderful memories at this year's contest thanks to Alice-san, didn't we!
Yuki: Well, that's true. Even if I wanted to, I don't think I'd forget this for the rest of my life.
*This is brought up in Chapter 8 of the "Resounding Chimes, Holy Night" event

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Part 5)

Muku: 28, 29, 30… gh.
Yuki: Haa, uugh… Why do we have to do muscle training on our day off.
Homare: Because I said I'd support you, as your friend.
Plus, did you not say that you wanted to do secret training with me the other day?
Yuki: I absolutely did not.
Homare: Now, you two! If you are done with your sit-ups, we shall move on to our back muscles!
Muku: I'll do my best…!
Yuki: This is hell…
Homare: Alright, shall we take a quick break?
Muku: Phew…
Yuki: Haaaa… I'm tired…
This might be the harshest Chorus Contest I've done so far. Even the special lessons are rigorous.
Homare: My strictness is a result of my love for you all.
Muku: But your lessons are really fun, Alice-san. Everyone else says so too!
Yuki: It looks like my class has also gotten pretty excited thanks to the special lessons.
Homare: Splendid, that's what's most important.
Muku: There are lots of students who look forward to hearing you sing during the lessons too.
You really are good at it.
Homare: Ooh, if you're going to say that, then I have no choice. I shall sing for you as an example right now!
Muku: Eeh!? Is that really okay!?
Homare: Of course. I shall sing music to heal you as you rest, so do enjoy it!
Haa~♪ Du-duu~♪
Muku: Wow, it's a gospel…!
Yuki: I don't feel like I'm being healed at all…
*door opens*
Tenma: Are you three working? We came to drop stuff off.
Misumi: We brought triangle onigiri~
Kumon: Woah, Homare-san looks like he's having fun singing!
Kazunari: As gorgeous as you'd expect~! Gonna snap a pic while I have the chance.
Yuki: Great timing. We've been working out too much, I was just getting hungry.
Kumon: Doing secret training is super cool! Eat this onigiri and keep at it!
Muku: Right! Thanks, everyone!
Muku: Pack my sheet music carefully… there.
Yuki: Muku, time to go.
Homare: Greetings, you two. Is it already time to leave for the contest?
Muku: Yeah. We decided we'd get there a bit early.
Yuki: Don't want to be rushing at the last minute. Anyway, do you need us for something?
Homare: I'm certain I taught you everything I intended to during the lessons.
So, I want you to not get too riled up, and enjoy yourselves with smiling faces. …That's what I have to say.
Yuki: We were going to do that without you saying so.
Muku: Right, we're going to enjoy this contest!
Homare: Wonderful. I also plan on going to the venue to support you. I'm looking forward to everyone's choruses.
Students: Laa~♪ Lalalaa~♪
Homare: (Aah, every class has a beautiful harmony.)
(Those two were also making very nice expressions. Their singing, too, was free of worry…)
Music Teacher: We shall now announce the winners of St Flora's Chorus Contest.
For high school section, the grand prize goes to…
*applause*
Yuki: Finally over. Though, in the end, we couldn't get the prize.
Muku: Yeah, it's a shame. But the third year class that did was really good.
Homare: You did well, you two.
Yuki: So did you, Alice.
Muku: Sorry, even though you taught us so much, we couldn't win…
Homare: No need to apologise. It was clear you did your best and enjoyed yourselves.
Plus, while the winning class was certainly wonderful…
I found myself wanting to grace your singing voices with the grand prize.
Muku & Yuki: …!
Homare: Apologies, do forget that just now. It's not something I should say as a tutor.
Muku: Fufu… Thank you, Alice-san!
Yuki: Really, what are you talking about?
Homare: Now, shall we return home?

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Part 4)

Muku: Yuki-kun was really cool then, wasn't he?
Yuki: Oh my god, I can NOT believe you saw that…
Homare: What a wonderful memory…!
Yuki: But things got pretty annoying after that, you know.
They forced their solo part onto me, saying I should do it if I was so into it.
Homare: To hand over such an important part, they don't know what they're missing…!
Muku: So that's why you had the solo. That must have been super difficult…
Yuki: Well, yeah. If you're suddenly told to do something, it's not going to be easy…
Yuki: (Those guys are seriously making me do the solo part instead of them?)
(Even our other classmates said I'd be better than those unmotivated boys… and asked me to do it.)
Really, forcing this on me shows how irresponsible all of them are.
(Well, it's not like I refused, so I guess it's my fault too…)
Yuki: (Good, nobody's here.)
I'll try practicing my solo for now.
♪~♪♪~
(…No good. I feel like I can't sing well at all.)
This really is difficult…
(The solo part stands out a lot, but no matter how much I practice, it's…)
*door opens*
Yuki: ?
Muku: Ah, um… I, I forgot something here… Sorry to interrupt!
Good luck with your practice…!
*footsteps*
Yuki: (What's with that guy…)
(That surprised me, but… the pressure I was feeling just now seems like it's weakened a bit.)
Good luck with your practice, huh…
(Alright, I guess I can keep going a little longer?)
Muku: So you also remember that, Yuki-kun…
Yuki: Well, it left quite an impact on me.
Muku: Ehehe, sorry I surprised you.
When I saw you practicing, I couldn't help but show you my support…
Yuki: …Thanks for back then.
Muku: Huh?
Yuki: We didn't win, but I think I did all I could thanks to your support.
Muku: I'm glad if I helped out even a little bit… And your solo was super pretty, you know!
Homare: How wonderful…!
Thank you both for sharing such gorgeous memories. To show my appreciation…
I'd like to give you two new memories of the Chorus Contest this year.
Muku: You mean…?
Homare: Of course, I want you both to win the grand prize!
Yuki: We can't, we're in different classes.
Homare: Ah- that's right!
Yuki: Plus, is it really okay for our tutor to be so biased?
Homare: Well, naturally I intend on helping everyone I teach aim for the prize.
But separate from that - as your friend - I want to support you two.
Yuki: What's up with that. …But, well, if you're giving support, I'll take it.
Muku: That makes me really happy.
I'll practice as hard as I can to make the most of your coaching, Alice-san!
Homare: Wonderful. I shall put my all into it as well.
Oh my, it's this late already… Time truly does fly when you're having fun.
Thank you both for accompanying me today, I truly do appreciate it. Please leave the bill to me.
Muku: Thank you!
Yuki: Obviously.

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Part 3)

Muku: This peach tea smells lovely!
Homare: Indeed. The Darjeeling tea is likewise very delicious.
Yuki: Anyway, back to what we were talking about. Don't act pompous and just say it.
Homare: Of course.
Now then, I shall tell you the story of my oh-so painfully beautiful memories of the Chorus Contest!
When I was in middle school, I was active in the Chorus Club, making use of my gorgeous soprano.
Everyone listened to my singing with rapt attention.
Of course, I too loved my own singing.
However, a short while after entering high school, my voice grew hoarse for some reason, and I wasn't able to sing in soprano.
At first I thought I had caught a cold, but my voice never quite returned.
Right. It wasn't a cold… my voice was breaking.
"Has it finally happened…?"
My gorgeous soprano was gone, and I retired from the Chorus Club.
I was a canary who'd lost his song…
But even so, I had to participate in the Chorus Contest.
I can't stay sad forever-
With that in mind, I faced the contest with my heart and soul.
And as a result, although the grand prize escaped me, I came to think my current voice wasn't so bad…
No, rather, I came to think it was even better.
Homare: Like the leaves changing colour in autumn, change comes to everyone equally.
It can certainly be perplexing at times. But, there is no need to be sad.
They are all our precious, lovable selves…
The Chorus Contest held in my first year of high school taught me that, and so I find it especially memorable.
Yuki: Your voice changing can't be helped, but it's just like you to pick yourself right back up.
Muku: I think that's a wonderful memory! Plus, I love the singing voice you have now.
Homare: Ooh, if you're going to say that, I suppose I have no choice… I shall sing a song for you right now!
Muku: Th-that's…
Yuki: Absolutely not.
Homare: Hm, really? Another time, then.
Yuki: More importantly, don't you have any, Muku? Y'know, memories of the Chorus Contest.
Muku: Eh, me!?
Homare: If it's alright, I too would like to hear what you have to say.
Muku: Umm…
There was something that left an impression on me, during one of the contests in middle school…
Muku: (I have to return the textbook I borrowed from one of the kids in the class next door.)
Ah… I can hear singing.
(Are they practicing for the Chorus Contest? I might interrupt them if I go in now…)
(Wait, they stopped…?)
Female Student: C'mon, boys! Take this more seriously!
Male Student A: The third years are gonna win the grand prize anyway, practicing is pointless.
Male Student B: Yeah yeah, you've gotta be stupid to take this seriously.
Female Student: What was that!?
Muku: (Awawa, it sounds like they're having an argument!)
(Things might get physical at this rate…! What should I do!?)
Yuki: Losers.
Male Student A: Hah? So you're siding with the girls, huh, Rurikawa?
Male Student B: You really are just like one.
Yuki: I don't see what gender has to do with this.
I just think people who can only make excuses when they're scared of losing are uncool. That's all.
Male Student A: …Tch.
Male Student B: Hmph…
Muku: --

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Part 2)

Muku: It's almost time for the lessons to start. I'm getting a bit nervous…
Yuki: They're called "special lessons", but really, it's just practice. You'll be fine.
Plus, our tutor is…
*door opens*
Music Teacher: Ah, it looks like everyone's here.
I believe you've already been told, but we've invited a tutor for the special lessons this year.
Homare: Greetings, dear students. I am an alumni of this school who shall be your special tutor for the Chorus Contest, Arisugawa Homare.
I'm glad to be working with you from today on!
Muku: So it really is just like he said this morning.
Yuki: Not wearing the uniform though, of course.
Homare: In my middle school years, I led the Chorus Club to national victory, and was known as "The Boy Loved by God."
That's why you have nothing to worry about - just follow my lead!
Student A: This guy's sure got a lot of presence, huh… But he seems like he might be reliable.
Student B: I know him! That's the poet Arisugawa Homare-sensei! To be taught by Arisugawa-sensei… wow!
Student C: Oh, I've heard about "The Boy Loved by God" from the guys in the Chorus Club before!
Yuki: It's suddenly all noisy…
Muku: These lessons really are going to be fun.
Muku: Thanks for teaching us today, Alice-san! I learned a lot.
Yuki: The lesson was more proper than I thought it'd be.
Homare: Thank you. I felt as though I'd gone back to being a student myself, it was very enjoyable.
…I know. You two, would you mind accompanying me for a bit, if you have the time?
Yuki: Do you want to continue practicing at home?
Muku: You mean, like some secret special training…!?
Homare: I see, special training does sound fun as well.
However, I was referring to what students do on their way home… That is, taking a detour!
As such, I would now like to recommend a cafe to you both.
Yuki: Muku, this chocolate cake here looks good.
Muku: Yeah, it looks super cute and tasty…!
Homare: I'll be having the carrot cake set. Hm, and what drink should I get?
Yuki: I'll have this, then.
Muku: I'll go with this.
Homare: Understood, I'll order right away.
Homare: …Once again. Thank you both very much for accompanying me today.
Muku: Thank you as well, I'm really happy you invited us!
Yuki: Well, I was hungry anyway.
Homare: That's good, then.
Now, as fellow students of St Flora, let us talk to our heart's content about the memories of our youth!
Yuki: Uh, you're not a student anymore.
Muku: Um… In that case, can I ask you something, Alice-san?
Homare: Oh my, what exactly?
Muku: How did you find the Chorus Contests when you were in school?
Yuki: Good question. I might be a bit curious too, it sounds like you were really active in the Chorus Club.
Homare: …
Muku: Alice-san…? Did I ask something weird?
Homare: No, I was simply thinking back to that time.
Right, my memories of the Chorus Contest…
Employee: Thank you for waiting. Here are your cake sets.
Homare: Ah, thank you.
Before I speak of my memories, shall we enjoy our tea first? We wouldn't want it getting cold now.

Event Translation - Spotlight ~St Flora Side~ (Part 1)

Classmate: See ya, Sakisaka.
Muku: Yeah, see you later.
*door opens*
Yuki: Well done today.
Muku: Ah, Yuki-kun! You came to get me, huh.
Sorry, homeroom ended up dragging on today…
Yuki: Because of the Chorus Contest, right? My class was also talking about it earlier.
Really makes it feel like it's that time of year already.
Muku: Yep. An intra-school contest between all the middle and high school classes…
The practice is pretty hard, but I have fun listening to the other classes' choruses.
Yuki: This year they've even invited a tutor to hold special lessons after school.
It's our one big event, so they get way too fired up every year.
Muku: It looks like the special lessons are free, so I'm thinking of taking part.
Yuki: I'm planning to go too, just in case.
Muku: Let's do our best together then, Yuki-kun!
Muku: Director-san, me and Yuki-kun might be late coming home for a while.
Izumi: I see, is something happening?
Muku: From today on we'll be taking lessons after school for the Chorus Contest.
It seems we'll be getting a tutor from outside the school, too…
Izumi: Wow, sounds like you'll be getting some real authentic training.
Yuki: I guess.
Muku: That reminds me, will you be having a solo part again, Yuki-kun? You know, like back in middle school.
Yuki: Nope. My class chose a song without any solo parts this year.
Muku: Ah, I see.
Yuki: At any rate, you remember middle school pretty well, don't you?
Muku: That's because…
*door opens*
Homare: Good morning. Today is another refreshing start of the day!
Izumi: Eh, Homare-san!? Those clothes are…
Muku: Th-that's our high school uniform, isn't it?
Yuki: Cosplaying in the morning?
Homare: St Flora's Chorus Contest is happening soon, is it not?
My old Chorus Club teacher reached out to me and asked if I could hold special lessons in preparation for it.
Starting today, I'll be going to coach the students directly.
Muku & Yuki: Eh.
Homare: As such, I do implore you both to take part in the special lessons!
Muku: Of course, we were planning to.
Yuki: Didn't think we were getting such a weirdo as a tutor, though.
Izumi: So then, you're wearing that uniform because…?
Homare: Right. If I'm visiting my alma mater, isn't it only polite to clad myself in it's uniform?
How about it, does it not suit me? Though, the size is a tad small…
Muku: Y-yeah. I think it suits you really well, but…
Yuki: Is that really "polite?"
Homare: Fufu, that was a joke just now.
When I went to my parents' house the other day, I found this nostalgic uniform while clearing out my room.
I brought it back with me to test if I could still wear it.
Yuki: So you ARE cosplaying.
Muku: But if Alice-san is teaching us, I'm sure the special lessons will be really fun!
Homare: Of course, leave it to me!
Izumi: (Homare as a tutor… Those'll definitely be some unique lessons.)

Event Translation - Spotlight: Tsukushi High & St Flora (Prologue: Super Popular Feature!)

Kasumi: This kind of meeting has become a regular occurrence, hasn't it?
Thanks to you, the latest special feature of "Spotlight" was also incredibly popular and in demand.
Even I got to hear a bunch of stories I didn't know, so conducting the interviews was really enjoyable.
Izumi: We're also very grateful and happy. Thank you!
Kasumi: The Newborn Mankai Company really has a lot of different relationships in it, I doubt we'll ever run out of special features.
Izumi: Speaking of… what should we do for the next group?
Kasumi: About that…
Our readers seem to want another school focus, there were a lot of survey responses about it.
The last school focus was the first of these features we did, on HanaGaku and O-High, so I think there's been a good span of time too, but… what do you think?
Izumi: I think that sounds good! It was mentioned last time that there are a lot of groups like them that go to the same school, after all.
Kasumi: That's great~ thank you!
It is, of course, due to the reader's requests, but…
Personally speaking, I'm also excited for the valuable opportunity to hear tales of youth from students, as someone who can't go back to that time.
Izumi: Ahaha, I'm interested in those too.
Izumi: Thanks for taking the time to come today as well.
Kasumi: I should be thanking you! You even went as far as getting some nice tea and snacks.
*door opens*
Homare: I have returned.
Izumi: Welcome home, Homare-san!
Kasumi: Pardon me.
Homare: Oh my, Kasumi-san? Welcome, I didn't know you were coming.
Kasumi: We were just having a meeting to discuss "Spotlight".
Homare: Ooh, is that so! I always enjoy reading each new issue.
I've yet to be featured in one, but I'm sure my waiting will be over soon.
I'm looking forward to it. Well then, until we meet again.
*footsteps*
Izumi: Umm…
Kasumi: …I guess I'll have to have Homare-kun in the next feature?
Izumi: …Yeah, probably.

Backstage Translation - Triangle Delivery, Open for Business! (Part 2)

Tasuku: ...What on earth is this.
Itaru: Huuh, "Triangle Delivery"? Could be convenient if you use it well.
"Send your requests to Misumi via LIME or call!" So it's got nothing to do with the telephone here, lol.
Tasuku: Sigh... Who'd ask for this?

Misumi: I wonder if any requests will come~?
*ring ring*
Misumi: Yes yeees, this is Triangle Delivery!
Muku: "Uum, Kazu-kun said I should try calling, but--"
"I'm not sure it's okay to ask this of you, Misumi-san..."
Misumi: Triangle Delivery fulfills any request!
Muku: "Then... I'd like the latest volume of this shoujo manga I always buy."
Misumi: Okaaay! Leave it to me!

*knock knock*
Misumi: Triangle Delivery! Thanks for waiting~!

Muku: Wah, you really bought it for me!
Thank you so much, here's the money for it.
Misumi: Got iiit! Payment received~ I'll be waiting for your next request!

*ring ring*
Tsumugi: "Hello, is this Triangle Delivery?"
Misumi: Yes yeees! What's your order?
Tsumugi: "Could you bring me two servings of dango? The delivery destination is--"
Misumi: Alright, understood! I'm on my waaay!

Misumi: I'm here~ Here's the dango you ordered.
Tsumugi: Fufu, thank you. Now, let's eat it together.
Misumi: Eh, are you sure?
Tsumugi: Of course. Look, it's a full moon tonight.
Misumi: It is~ A perfect circle!
Tsumugi: But crescent moons are more triangular than full ones, aren't they? Let's come up here when it's a crescent next time.
Misumi: Yeah! I'll bring triangular dango then!
Tsumugi: Ahaha, I'm looking forward to it.

Misumi: Phew~ I did a lot of work today, huh~
*ring ring*
Misumi: Triangle Delivery!
Itaru: "Excuse me, Mr Triangle Deliveryman?"
"Look, sorry to call so late at night, but there's something I'd like you to bring me real quick."
Misumi: Yes yeees, what is it~?
Itaru: "Do you... have a controller? One with a triangle button on it."
Misumi: Sooorryyy, our store doesn't handle stuff like tha~t.
Itaru: "No, I know you have one! There's a game I need it for--"
Misumi: It's time for us to close no~w. Please call again some other ti~me!
Itaru: "Wait...!"
Misumi: Goodnight now! Sweet dreams Itaru~
