Team Taka buys a house and it goes something like this.

Getting a house was Sasuke's idea. They each needed somewhere to live and since they were a team, well, it made the most sense to just live together. Suigetsu was the first to object; "buy a house? really? is that what you're resorting to now Sasuke? real estate?" he sits back in his chair with the air of someone who has seen too much in too short a time. As if the idea of buying a house was somehow more exhausting than being a ninja. "Don't tell me you'd rather live in hotels your whole life" Karin rolled her eyes mightily. "well no," Suigetsu drew out the last word. "but there's too many things to consider. where are we going to get the house, how are we going to avoid being noticed by people we don't want noticing us, who is going to watch it when we're not around?"

"We'll get a house in the countryside, a quiet place that doesn't have any shinobi". The thing about Sasuke and his ideas was that he never presented them like they were ideas. He said it like they were facts. Like they were plans about to be executed. and then (sometimes) waited for anyone to dare to disagree or ask questions. "if it's in an isolated area we won't need anyone look after it while we're away. it'll be fine on its own"

Suigetsu turned his head towards Sasuke "you've really thought this through, who knew you could have such a domestic idea"

"It's going to be hard to find a house that's ready to live if it's away from civilization" Juugo, who had been silent since the beginning of the conversation spoke up quietly from the corner of the room. "most houses that rural are abandoned."

Sasuke shrugged "we'll find one and fix it up"

Whatever you do don’t think about Juugo sitting all alone in that cell for three years waiting for Kimimaro to come back. And how when he finally heard that Kimimaro had died he decided to stay in that little cell for the rest of his life because he’d rather be imprisoned than hurt anyone.

*through gritted teeth* ok i need you to understand that just bc a character makes a statement about sasuke's personality or whatever and they say it with a completely confident tone and everything, that does not mean they are supposed to be correct. when naruto instigates fights with sasuke bc he thinks he's being looked down on, he is wrong bc he is deeply insecure about his own abilities and self-worth and craves acknowledgement. when kakashi says sasuke is like him, he is wrong bc he is very clearly projecting and his complete misreading of sasuke's character and circumstances ends up backfiring. when sakura says sasuke must have used PEDs to get so strong she is wrong bc sasuke himself later disproves this assumption when he calls out orochimaru's methods. when itachi says sasuke is a blank canvas that can be easily painted over, he is also wrong and later admits he was wrong and can we pls just leave the sasuke was manipulated misinterpretation in 2022

It is so extremely tragic and misguided to me that Fugaku hate even exist. Especially from people who justify it by saying he was a bad father.

Because he was anything but. He was a stoic man but he loved his sons and defended them when needed even if it put his position as head of the clan at risk. When push came to shove he chose his sons. He was one of the few people who could fight and beat Itachi during the Uchiha massacre but he simply couldn’t bring himself to fight his own son. His last request was just Itachi protecting Sasuke.

Not to keep their clan name alive or whatever but simply requesting that Sasuke would be spared and safe

And above all that he saw right through Itachi’s cold demeanor during the massacre and called him kind.

How can you hate this man???!
