Yoga for constipationCauses of constipation: I discussed that the main reason or cause of constipation is indigestion or poor digestion. Other causes are mentioned below -
1. Lack of water in the body. The amount of water drink is less.
2. Quickly eating without chewing.
3. Taking junk foods. Avoiding homemade foods.
4. The low quantity of fiber in daily food.
5. Insomnia or sleeping disorders.
6. Taking excessive coffee, tea.
7. Less secretion of TSH.
8. Excessive smoking and drinking of alcohol.

5 Yoga poses for relief from constipation
1. Ardhya Matsyendrasana (Half Spinal Twist Pose):
Starting process:
Sit on the floor, spread your legs. Touch left hip by folding your right leg. Fold your left leg and keep it on the floor. Keep your thumb in front of your knee. Hold your thumb of the left leg by the right hand. Turn your back. Turn your left hand brings the left hand near your waist. Try to move your head, neck, back at the left side. Hold this posture for 30 seconds. Do this same with your other side.

It is so beneficial pose for good digestion. Good digestion wanes constipation.
• It gives pressure on the belly which helps to good bowel movements.

2. Mayurasana (Peacock Pose):
Starting process:
Sit on the floor being crossing your legs. Keep both palms on the floor, give little distance between them. Keep your both elbows near your navel by leaning your torso. Straight your both legs slowly. Your chin must be parallel to the floor. Your elbow will carry the body weight, so beginners can feel a little discomfort. Lift up your head slowly. Hold breathing at least 10 seconds and come back to the previous position. Do it for 4 times. Please do this asana or yoga after practicing some postures. Otherwise, it can give me a little cramp.

3. Supta Udarakarshanasana (Sleeping Abdominal Twist):
Starting process:
Lie on the floor. Keep your palms beneath your head and bend your knees. Take a deep exhale. Now, move to the right by twisting knees with your knees and feet together. When you move to right then keep the head on the left side. Do this same technique with your other side means the left side. Keep this posture for 10 seconds.
• It gives a stretch on abdominal muscles, abdominal organs, digestive organs.
