When I fall in love, the molecules of the world have colour again like a deity has sprinkled some joy onto the concrete ever so cracked and permeated by weeds yet the weeds don’t appear worrying anymore yet rather spectacular.
The analogy that the comfort of the growth through harder exterior invites me to take the mask off and as I’m slipping into something more me I feel a closeness to everything else in my vicinity. The lights flash, the sun feels welcoming and the plans I have given myself seem achievable again.
Love and I are best friends, we batter each other up a lot but the feelings never die truly. I see your face and I see that mask fall off too, I wanna skinny dip into the world with you and I want to fall into the grass with some grace and know it’s inconsequential to reason with grief when she’s just telling you where to look and delve into before the next chapter begins.
I fall to you and I smile in every life.

Oh ok so it turns out ive been borrowing grief from the future ! it turns out ive been preparing to lose the things i love rather than basking in the light of them while they last. Maybe i should nt do that
