I may just make this an AU blog?? Like, I see many canon Riku's, all who's posts I've read and my gosh you guys write him so well.

So, since I end up making more AU's for this guy here in way...I guess ill just strictly play this as an AU

Nomura was not lying when he implied we would find out how the Destiny Trio all feels about each other in kh3, and now I have a lot more reason to be certain he was talking about Riku’s feelings.  Unfortunately this doesn’t come across so clearly in the English version, but in the Japanese version there is a clear and consistent use of “Taisetsuna hito” (most precious person) with every time we’ve seen a Sora and Riku parallel come up.  It’s really incredible actually, how clear it is.

Some friends of mine are working to put together a doc with all the translations of these moments, so look forward to that!

Riku sighed, having just settled on a rock near the ocean. Carefully, he rubbed his soar shoulders a bit to relax. It had been a bit of a rough training session, and they had been keeping him busy lately...it felt like ages since the silver haired boy actually got a breather. At the familiar greeting, he looked up and smiled. “Hey, sorry for taking so long to get here. The ‘boss’ in a way has been keeping me busy-” He paused, noticing the sandy blonde haired mans eyes..and demeanor. Frowning, he leaned forward. “...Hey, you doing okay?...Anything happen?”
