If you think about it, starting off rough and then coming to the deen later on can be considered as an actual blessing.
Youre already somewhat aware of how this dunya and everything in it wont fill that gap of emptiness you have. You realise that no matter how much you experiment with things and try to look for happiness in them, true contentment and inner peace only comes from Allah.

Youre already somewhat aware of how this dunya and everything in it wont fill that gap of emptiness you have. You realise that no matter how much you experiment with things and try to look for happiness in them, true contentment and inner peace only comes from Allah.
