So... this is happening... (at Alaska)

We aimed for the top, but the snow and lack of trail didn’t want to cooperate. It was still a gorgeous 80 mile snowmachine ride with my cousin ( @doggydecadents) Next year we’ll make it to the top of Sleeping Lady! (at Alaska)

There may be snow on the ground, but I’ve got my hands in the dirt! Yay Spring planting! 🌱 (at Alaska)

Headed home after a quick trip to visit family in “the States,” an even quicker layover in Chicago to hit the museum. Great trip, but it’ll be good to get away from the crowds and back to our little Alaskan homestead. (at Chicago, Illinois)

Last night’s leftover caribou roast with homegrown taters and carrots become today’s hash. (at Alaska)

Beautiful but cold! 4 degrees out this morning. We’ll finally get some direct sunlight back on the homestead today! (at Alaska)

Only 2 degrees out means even the 150 lb. malamute/ Great Pyrenees is curled up in front of the fire. It’s snowing out too! Woo hoo! (at Alaska)
