I know the lyrics of MM songs are written by men for men, but I get a strong lesbian vibe from the Kokoro&Karada song, the lyrics kind of feel like a girl’s crush on her girl-sempai, it could be an opening of a Yuri Anime series or something.

Buono will still be my favorite H!P group no matter how long it’s been disbanded. It was refreshing to listen to easy going songs that weren’t constantly about melodrama break ups and being love struck. Oh and Momoko was killing the rock look.

I know Sakura and Kaede’s scene in Kokoro&Karada was supposed to look romantic, but all I see is Kaede about to snap Sakura’s neck.

We were robbed of a MiyaxAirixRisako trio and it hurts everyday. Heck throw momochi in there and u have the best vocalist of the kids in there. The H!P kids group we needed.

I still have a problem with how Dia Lady was just a satoyama & satoumi unit, I’m sure they could have been a more recognized duo.

°C-ute’s disbandment felt like it was a REAL group choice. However, BK & CG’s still feel like one member really wanted to graduate and the others kind of agreed to the disbandment. It doesn’t feel right but I guess it’s the best conclusion they reached…

MOMOCHI PROBABLY WANTED TO END HER IDOL CAREER WITH BERRYZ BUT NO UFA HAD HER STAY AND BE THE PLAYING MANAGER OF A NEW GROUP WHICH SHE WORKED 100% HARD AT EVEN THOUGH SHE WANTED TO PURSUE HER OWN CAREER. UFA YOU RAT BASTARDS YOU DON’T DESERVE ANYTHING GOOD.
I’m dead, it was not enough to shove Gountry Girls to the back as soon as Momochi graduated but now they’re also disbanding… UF doesn’t deserve their idols, they don’t. WHAT DID MOMOCHI EVEN WORK FOR THEN?! This is the worst.
To quote a H!O user: “Keeping Momochi just for pushing them in the back right after her graduation… Pathetic.“ That is all, fuck UF.

I think a lot of people would be less unhappy with MM/H!P in general if they stopped wishing for the groups to get popular/gain public attention. It really reminds me of kpop fans focusing on which groups are popular and which groups are “flops”. Isn’t it enough for you to enjoy the music and performances? You don’t need validation from anyone else and you don’t need to get angry at UFA for promoting groups in a way that’d validate your interests via public popularity.

I miss ‘15-'16 Maa. She had a great energy and presence that reminded me of Tsuji at the end of her tenure. I’m not a big fan of the whole eroshii thing Maa does now, it can be a bit much and her moody faces reminds me too much of that depressed-looking Keyakizaka center.

I kinda wish Berryz had lived in more recent years for a number of reasons, but something I’d have liked to see (especially during 2011-2013) is for non-main-singers like Maasa (especially Maasa) and Sakitan to be more visual centers. I mean, there were a lot of stunning girls in Berryz but I think Maasa-Risako-Miya as visual centers around that time would have been great, and Sakitan-Yurina-Miya could have taken over (2013-2014) to change things a bit. It would have been a great way to give the other members more spotlight since Miya-Rii-Momo had most of the vocals covered. Like, seriously, watch Sayonara Usotsuki no Watashi and tell me Maasa doesn’t have the looks. But of course, management likes to mantain the status quo so I can only wish it had happened.

For my older J-pop fans in the building, doesn’t Airi’s Escape sound like Amuro Namie and Koda Kumi circa 2005-2006? Female j-pop vocalists nowadays don’t make that kind of music, it’s more subdued. She should stick to that sound, it’s perfect.
