If I had a nickel for every time I added a muse I hated just to see him suffer and get his comeuppance, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

There are most definitely a lot of souls that remind Jinu of the FAMILY that he had abandoned all those centuries back.
The thing is, while that might at times make him hesitate (Especially when he first began his tortured existence as Gwi-ma's underling), never was that enough to stop him from getting the job done. This only further EATS AWAY at Jinu, as the years pass. He never takes pleasure in his job (Not that it matters, at least to him), but he has also GIVEN UP in ever redeeming himself.
There is no hope for him, no light at the end of that winding tunnel. For he had closed it shut behind him, after making that disgusting choice to choose himself over his loved ones.
Which is why the only thing Jinu ended up wanting from the demon king was to forget his family and the cruel deed that he had committed. And to simply give up whatever remained of his humanity.

WHAT WE SEE IN THE MOVIE is of course not Jinu's first rodeo when it came to collecting human souls.
Before the events of the movie, Jinu's tactics were a lot more subtle and much smaller in scale when he entered the human world to collect souls for Gwi-ma. With the musical talent that was gifted/cursed upon him by the demon king, Jinu normally used this to his advantage.
He would normally pass off as just some small time musician playing at a club or cafe, and would very easily attract the attention of a few admirers there. Ones that he would very often take that very same night to feed to his king.
This way, anyone that would remember Jinu from these smaller and more private performances-- were already long gone by the time of the movie's events. Preventing anyone from recognising him, when he suddenly comes out as the leader of a K-pop Boy Group (Something that would also be influenced and inspired by his schemes in the past).

THE BEAUTY OF RUMI & JINU'S RELATIONSHIP is how they were truly able to aid one another in accepting/finding their true selves in some way.
Jinu for the longest time was DESPERATE to give up whatever remained of his HUMANITY (Just so that he would no longer have to suffer with his guilt anymore, and especially those voices themselves). Which is pretty much his own way of GIVING UP COMPLETELY to Gwi-ma himself.
When watching those particular scenes for the first time, one probably thought that it was ridiculous that all Jinu wanted out of this entire soul stealing scheme is to have his memories removed. When that alone likely showed just how bad the TORMENT that Gwi-ma had put them all through truly was. All Jinu wanted was to join his brethren, to forget it all, and forget himself. He saw no real redemption for himself, after what he had done to his family all those centuries back.
And well, that all changed when he met Rumi. It was here that he dared to want more... that he would now instead even entertain the idea of being FREE...
While it most likely came from a rather manipulative place at first (The man's a demon for crying out loud), I feel that Jinu showing acceptance and connecting with Rumi and her demon heritage was the VERY FIRST STEP that she needed to come and LOVE AND ACCEPT HERSELF for who she is. Especially after living all her life hiding that very part of herself and thinking that the one and only right thing to do... was to erase that very part of herself.

ABS, MYSTERY, ROMANCE and BABY SAJA were not just mere henchmen for JINU SAJA and his K-pop boy group scheme. They too were also cursed souls who have suffered similar fates to him.
Demons like the SAJA BOYS start off with some of the strongest of wills, when compared to other demons that have succumbed completely to GWI-MA. It was because of this that Jinu was able to bond with these other demons, finding unexpected companionship in this literal hellhole-- and would even regard them as BROTHERS of sorts.
Overtime, however, they too would lose themselves completely, drowning themselves in the VOICES OF SHAME AND SORROW like so many others in the demon realm. Forgetting their TRUE NAMES, and forgetting what made them who they once were. No longer able to retain their original human forms, and have become malformed, barely humanoid creatures like so many other demons in that realm. And what we see of their behaviour while they are out in public as the charming and charismatic Saja Boys-- being nothing more than empty imitations.
The only thing that seems to remain of them is their bond with Jinu. Something that they all have tragically also forgotten, with them seemingly just viewing him as their leader and nothing more. Jinu would for the most part treat them in recent times as nothing more than just cronies who would do his bidding, but would sometimes still offer a little more... kindness to them, than expected.
Eventually, Jinu would be the only one who would retain his memories. Though it was not out of his desire to hold onto them, but by Gwi-ma's will.
The Demon King somehow saw more potential in Jinu retaining more of his original self when compared to the others. Even allowing him to keep the 'gift' of his musical talent, the gift that had stayed with him-- from the moment he had begun to descend-- until now. Both tormenting him, and also serving as the bit of power that he is able to use for Gwi-ma's bidding.

It's kinda funny how most people treat this tall, blindfolded man like it's a normal, everyday thing. Or well, thank you, Japan has always been polite and wouldn't see a reason to point out something that if it doesn't cause any issues. But I still think it's so funny that all these old folks treat Go//jo so normally, especially when he's buying treats and souvenirs off them. Like-- oh, somehow, this guy can perfectly still see everything, even with that blindfold on. Well, okay then!

Me when I see people try to paint Go//jo as the villain and worst than everyone else in the series, including the actual villains themselves.
