Yuuuuuuuup. In reality, branding shit as being for women (as opposed to marginalized genders) only encourages and even forces trans men into the closet. Like it's commonly accepted by the tma/tme crowd that closeted trans ppl amab do not have male privilege. Therefore, trans ppl afab should not have the "privilege" allowed to cis women either. However, that would mean having consistent logic and not gender essentialist nonsense

the idea that trans men have a "statistically higher access to education" is WILD when you take into account the world outside of america and europe. like not to "cling to my asab" but in many countries people afab have their access to education severely restricted/controlled. but sure lets just keep focusing on american cities.

You’re reffering to situational privilege, which depends on a number of different factors such as race, class, passing ability, etc. and yes, that is basic intersectionality. It’s very much a one-on-one basis, though, and depends solely on individual experiences.

But this is about systemic privilege between a trans person and a cis person, regardless of gender, which effects all trans people living under a cis-patriarchy. Even the most passing of trans men still have to face a healthcare system that is deliberatly set up against them and I don’t know any trans men in government positions that are stripping rights away from cis people, but I can name about ten cis politicians (and one extremely irritating author) off the top of my head who are currently taking away my bodily rights in my own country.

Nobody has ever, in the history of the world, said that transmascs are inherently incapable of rape. Anyone can be a rapist. Transmasc, transfem, transneut, any cis person, anyone. I have never denied this, and suggesting I did deny this when all I said was 'hey it's kinda transphobic to call all trans men rapists-in-waiting', only proves that your side relies on transphobic bad-faith arguments.

Transmascs are ALREADY painted as predatory rapists who prey on little girls by terfs and society at large. We get the worst of the worst when it comes to the 'predatory lesbian' and 'dangerous butch' tropes. You recognise that those are very real, right? Someone in my notes is arguing that cis women (and others) have NEVER faced transmisogyny, even when they’re mistaken for trans women and brutalized.

It feels like the aphobes, who insisted that we weren’t being correctively raped for being ace, we were just another female victim facing misogyny. (Female specifically- ace amabs were not even considered.)

Exactly. Similar goes for terms like mansplaining and weaponized incompetence. They both have specific meanings that people ignore and misuse them for.

At this point, I think that "male privilege" is just being treated like an abuser even if there's no evidence to suggest that you are one; in addition to not being taken seriously any time someone tries to harm you.
