Camera Shots of Doctor Strange (marvel)
Tumblr media
Doctor Strange and Ancient One's conversation in the Astral Plane right before she dies, the camera is shooting them from behind and over their back shoulders. When she says something that's supposed to be a big revelation, the camera tracks around her to their front side. Because they're both ghosts, we can follow Stranger’s face as it passes behind her face in the shot.
There were four moments where Christine was startled during Stranger’s first return to the hospital. The first two when Strange reveals his Astral Form to her, third when he wakes up on the operating table, and finally when the mop slowly falls behind her in the mop closet. It was just a simple, well-conceived sequence of gags.
There is one perfect shot during the time loop sequence at the end, where Strange dies in the foreground, then the camera (I believe) tracks left and zooms in to show Strange showing up at the start of the time loop again.
None of these shots are going to blow you away or make you wonder how they did them. It's just some personality and cleverness. I don't really agree with the shaky camera and editing complaints some people have. The movie also has zero pacing problems. Doctor Strange embarks on a journey of healing, while discovering the secrets of an alternate dimensions and gaining magical powers on the way. Ultimately, he must decide whether to return to his old life in New York or leave it all behind to protect the Marvel Universe.
Using a 24-camera Vicon system, frame store undertook three days of stunt performance capture at Long cross Studios in Surrey, England, for fight scenes between Doctor Strange and Strong Zealot. Typically, Frame store deploys a 16-camera system, however additional loaned cameras were needed due to the size of the capture volume as many of the scenes involved actors flying on wires both vertically and horizontally.
Frame store managed the capture data using a pipeline that streamed from Blade, Vicon’s precision data capture and processing software, straight into Autodesk Motion Builder. This enabled the Frame store team to deliver reliable data, and allowed the stunt performers and coordinators to see the characters as they would finally appear on screen and direct stunts based on pre-visualized camera angles. The stunts were very physically demanding, so it was important for the data captured to be accurate and reliable,’ said Richard Graham.
Doctor Strange gives off many effects with each camera angle. The angles are very unique and dramatic at times. I feel that it gives the movie a “strange” look which is the effect they actually want to give off.

The Persuasion of the  Baby driver
Tumblr media
The purpose of a movie trailer is to draw the audience attention. Without a good suspenseful movie trailer, most people wouldnt be interested. The movie Baby Driver trailer focuses on suspense, violence, and exciting action. In result, those three things attract the feeling of the audience which leads into Ethos one of the elements of persuasion.
The trailer begins with a normal boy drinking tea at a diner. From this first impression, this engages the viewer to question what type of life he lives besides his job. The actor Ansel Elgort is very well known and loved for his role in “Our faults in our stars”. So, Baby Driver gives the audience a different view of what he’s capable of in his acting career. This falls in with pathos because the audience will begin to feel pity for his role as the driver.
Also, they showed what he does for a living. Baby violently drives criminals around to get them out of trouble. This builds a great suspense and excitement or the audience given that his lifestyle is so ordinary. The movie has even more high ratings because of the actor Jamie Foxx plays a major role in the movie. Jamie Foxx is well known for his acting roles in many movies and television shows.
At the end of the trailer, Baby’s life gets harder. It leads to him getting punished for his action. This is the climax of the trailer it shows the turnaround from the beginning to the end. The message in the trailer is basically karma. Whatever wrong you do in the past will catch back up in the future. Those types of messages lure people and catch the observer’s eye.

Different hidden meanings in Disney’s Frozen
Tumblr media
Frozen Heart" is the song that plays whilst the ice cutters are, well, cutting ice. It’s a foreshadow for the rest of the film, establishing the main theme of frozen hearts. This includes Anna’s literally frozen heart, Elsa’s closed off heart, and Hans’ unfeeling nature.. Most notably, at the end of the reprise of "For the First Time in Forever," the notes of this song are played, since Elsa struck Anna out of love and fear-her fear of Anna getting hurt.
·         Olaf
The comic relief character, Idena Menzel herself has stated that Olaf represents Elsa’s childhood. He also represents Elsa and Anna’s relationship. First off, he’s created when Elsa and Anna are friends as children. His original form is destroyed when Elsa and Anna’s relationship is destroyed. He’s re-created during "Let it go." Basically, the first thing Elsa does when she decides that she can do whatever the heck she wants is to build a snowman. She’s clearly wanted to build a snowman for quite some time. His personality is childish, silly, and goofy, again hearkening back to Elsa’s younger days. He’s destroyed during the storm at the end, when everything gets real intense, but he’s then re-created after the melting, when Elsa and Anna’s relationship is healed. Then, he’s kept around permanently.
·         Elsa’s powers
Elsa’s powers are related to her emotions! Think about Elsa’s powers. In the beginning, it’s all sparkly and fun, because she’s having fun with Anna. But when Anna gets hurt, her powers change. Her primary emotion regarding her powers is fear, and fear makes her powers spiky. During "Do You Want to Build a Snowman," when she accidentally ices the window, it makes spikes. And then there’s the whole bit with the Coronation scene. During "Let it Go," she’s accepted that her powers are beautiful. So, they make wonderful, beautiful things, from the entire palace made out of ice to her famous sparkly dress.
·         Gloves
During one of the non-singing parts of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman," Elsa’s father gives her gloves, and she uses them throughout the movie to hide her powers. She takes them off during "Let it Go," because she’s living with her power. She stops hiding herself. One thing I noticed throughout the movie is that Hans is wearing gloves as well. The only time he actually is himself is when he tells Anna that he wants to kill her. This gives off the message that he being the bad person in the film is actually him being his true self.
·         "Love is an Open Door"
For instance, when Hans and Anna hop up onto the clock tower, Hans reaches for Anna, but she runs around the other side of the tower instead. Throughout the entirety of the song, Hans is simply following Anna around and following her movements and actions, feeding her the lines he thinks she wants to hear.

Taken Soundtrack Analysis
Tumblr media
As Taken s action and thriller movie, most of the music is devoted to making the action scenes engaging with the intense and dramatic sound track. In the movie Taken majority of the music was fast and instrumental. The trailer doesn’t have any music with lyric s because the trailer focuses moves on what the character is saying.
The trailer starts off with a soft foreign tone. This song choice set the mood perfectly with the scene. The characters in the scene were at a sweet teenage birthday that her dad attended. The girl received a plane ticket to Paris which explains the foreign feel the sound gives off.
The next music change happens in a hotel as the two main characters talk on the phone. The music starts out quiet then escalates to match the suspense in the trailer. The music keeps you focused and keeps the audience heart beating.
After the hotel scene, the music starts getting louder and fast. The characters are in two different settings, so the sounds gives off a nervous feeling. Kimme, the daughter in the film, was take while on her trip in Paris and father is an on mission to find her. This sets a tense mood for the audience since the climax of the trailer has approached.
This music while the father is on the phone with the kidnapper goes silent. This adds a dramatic pause so the audience can engage and remain focused on the scene. Because of the silence, you can tell there is a huge conflict by the feeling the scene is trying to convey.
The song “There’s somebody here” by Nathaniel Mechaly gives a constant thriller vibe. The music adds an awesome suspense that will lead you into wanting to watch the movie. While the father is on the phone, he is threatening the kidnapper. This makes the music selection a perfect match for the suspenseful scene.
One of the things I like about Taken is that, aside from the main character and his deadly talents, it actually bears little resemblance to real life. Mainly, this is because Mills isn't lone-wolfing it through these adventures, he's got a very highly trained and very capable boss and team working with him. Bryan Mills is the focus of the show, so you can best believe that he still does a ton of butt-kicking, but, even when he's briefly going it alone, you know that the team will be there for solid backup when needed. Also, we never run into a situation where Mills has, personally, killed or maimed so many henchmen that you have to suspend a significant amount of disbelief that he hadn't met his match yet.
Taken is far more tense and suspenseful than the procedurals that fill the airwaves these days, and in that way it's a lot more like watching an action movie than most of the cop/detective movies now. There were quite a few moments where I could feel that something was going to happen, but had no idea what it would be or which direction the threat would come from. Taken also has a couple of overarching plots that really have me interested to see how they will develop into situations that will require the famous set of skills we all know and love.
