Spoilers for Scarecrow 1973 and Bobby Deerfield 1977 below:
Thinking about how Scarecrow and Bobby Deerfield films have almost the same plot of romantic road adventure which then turned out to be sad plot about somebody ending dead or in a hospital, with then other main character falsely assuming they’re fine, and then turning from a meanie to a softie.
Except Bobby Deerfield is a fucking boring movie about some celebrity with a fuckass attitude while Scarecrow is legendary adventure of two guys (gays) being dudes (hobos) and it’s awesome!!!
also you should watch “people i know 2002” it’s a weird film but it’s good bc al is a gay prostitute in it also angels in america too you should watch which he’s in and gay😭
when is al pacino NOT a gay prostitute or gay in general in his films?….
you NEED to watch glengarry glen ross i swear als so gay through the entire film there’s something wrong with him and me
i will!! dhdhhdhdh
i’m on a binge to watch almost all al pacino films anyhow and if it’s gay this has to be the next one for me to see. and surely it will be better than the last al pacino film i watched…
Rating Al Pacino characters by submissiveness and breedableness (completely unserious):
1. Sonny Wortzik
Not just cause he’s openly gay but also cause of his whimpering and patheticness (I’m just inventing words at this point)
2. Bobby Axel
He just seems the most realistic of all characters (therefore probably not is radically top or bottom) and it gives me a hint that if he was queer and not an addict, he’d more leaning towards being submissive due to his soft and more bendable (to situations I mean but also to you know what) nature.
3. Michael Corleone
Might be the biggest representation of: a person in all power secretly enjoy submitting in his private life. Also I feel like huge power bottom vibes but nonetheless he’d still be more leaning towards submitting just with some mind games over power dynamics. And to add, before his whole Don Corleone transformation he was a softie and very submissive, so that’s one thing that is left from the old Michael 😢😢
4. Frank Serpico
The most girly pop the 70s could have. Literally even, if he was based on a real life character, gay looking Al Pacino cant convince me Frank Serpico is straight. And definitely him being so overtly progressive he gotta bottom, straight or not, real.
(also this look screams 80s (70s I guess actually) homosexual, so no wonder he was accused of being one /j)
5. Bobby Deerfield
A homo from a homo factory.
Seriously though, this could be a fault of the movie but it seems like his interest in the woman in the film is so bland like there was so much more chemistry in The Panic in The Park between two characters, and it’s more about drug use than the romantic story which Bobby Deerfield is 💀
So I’m actually betting on him leaning more towards bisexual side, and like with his passive attitude he’s definitely bottoming like bro is too lazy for any type of clapping except, if it isn’t him the one being clapped.
6. Arthur Kirkland
A softie that also has a sense of justice and therefore more leaning towards being versatile. Like I feel like he’s the most middle ground ever. Also probably hes not experimenting as much tho cause he’s like almost 40 and possibly going on retirement soon after his lawyers career possible ending 😭😭
7. Tony Montana
A very big stretch cause he’s obviously so hyper masculine but for me he could bottom maybe under some circumstances and I just want him so that’s it.
8. Vincent Hanna
He just needs to bottom that’s all. He’s a cop, so him bottoming will be equivalent to protesting against corrupt governmental power.
9. Steve Burns
I put him only in nine cause I don’t like him much but hes definitely submissive and needs coooock (also his name cmon)
