General dpxdc prompt fills
Subscription Post
Unconnected one-shot series
No ship
“Blood Blossom”:
Desperate times require desperate solutions. When, after escaping GIW, Danny gets trapped by the Justice League, he has only one way to get out of it. Eating a Blood Blossom. (this one includes a sad and happy ending!)
"Another Blood Blossom":
Justice League had a problem, so they summoned Phantom, ghost hero from Amity Park. But he was no longer in Amity Park. His whole family exploded, so he couldn't stay. And he knew what would happen if he became full ghost. But there was Blood Blossom there. There would be no ghosts left.
“Contingencies”:
Danny lives with Bats and it all seems to go pretty well. Until they find his contingency plans, including ones against himself, that were just over glorified suicide to-do list. How the hell are they supposed to handle that (that’s a chunky boi, over 20k)
Christmas in Mount Justice
Danny hoped to escape general Christmas Spirit at Mount Justice, but M'gann asked him to introduce her and Conner to some earthly traditions. What was he supposed to say for that? No? Shenanigans ensue.
"Danny and Wally are chaos incarnate"
Starting snippet of Wally and Danny sprinting through walls (I didn't get around to actual sprinting through walls part, but it's still pretty cool, I think
Mr. J'onzz meet ghost and a half
J'onn went to rescue White Martian from sickly white facility. When he arrived, he met someone else entirely.
“Reverse summoning”:
It’s always DC characters summoning Danny. How about we do this another way around? Danny was desperate for a mentor and help (and some cold medicine). How- What- Why is Wonder Woman standing in his bedroom?
“Unknown, the Wandering Hero”:
Unknown was what Justice League called the friendly anonymous hero, who kept helping them with ghosts. Only one with powers working on them. It just turns out, they were much younger than everyone expected. Danny went through a lot lately and the less people knew who he was, the less likely he was to return to the operating table.
How does Subscription Post work?
I'll comment and add link whenever new part of this series gets added, and you will be less likely to miss it (and also won't have to subscribe to whole account, if this is only thing you find interesting). All you need to do is Subscribe to the post

For anyone who doesn’t know, we grew up living off of Brian Jacque’s Redwall series, which we remember most prominently for 1) its depictions of hope in impossible circumstances, and 2) its vivid and enviable descriptions of the food served at feasts. Well, today, 10-15 years after consuming this entire saga, guess what I found at the library.
Tumblr media
It has recipes for everything I ever wanted. Strawberry fizz, Blackberry and Apple Cake, classic Redwall scones. And as if that’s not enough, a note from the author himself:

DC x DP Prompt — Whats_this.png
Tucker is a nerd.
He's never denied it, never argued, especially with the amount of science expos and challenges he competes in. He loves code and video games, loves to solder chips and 3D print helpful inventions.
But really? It gets him out of Amity Park and gives him something to think about other than Phantom and school work and patrols. If he wins a few awards and momentary respect and acknowledgement from Casper, then, well, he'll take that too.
He's at a Gotham competition, displaying a long-distance communicator. It's actually something he uses to communicate with Danny through the Zone, just tweaked a bit.
Here he meets a dude named Tim. He has shaggy black hair and big, shiny glasses. They immediately hit it off when Tucker sees his Star Trek pin.
He looks a lot like Tim Drake-Wayne, but the guy doesn't bring that up and Tucker decides it's rude to do so.
They both like superheroes and sci-fi and tech and they ultimately trade contact info.
Tim, on the other hand, had been scouting out potential interns and future additions to WayneTech. He comes across Tucker Foley's invention and is impressed. It's only logical to talk and get his phone number; he's definitely going to have some lawyers contact this kid about a patent.
What he didn't expect? Becoming friends. Maybe it's because their interests click, or maybe it's because he can actually bounce off coding and gadget ideas and get actually good feedback.
They share snippets of their lives, memes, funny hero edits. They trade and build off of each other's ideas and give tips when the other asks for help.
Tim admits that he's a Wayne after a few months, and Tucker replies with a 'yeah man I kinda assumed that LMAOO' instead of asking for money or favors.
It's about six months later that Tucker finds himself in a tech situation that he doesn't know how to fix. And he's desperate this time.
The Fenton's had been building a weapon for a few weeks now to combat Phantom after the last few failed. Danny is getting genuinely nervous with the amount of time his parents spend working on it. So he recruits Tucker to try and understand what it does.
The problem? Tucker doesn't know what it's purpose is. The blueprints are confusing, even to him, and when he opens up some of the panels to look, he can't understand it either.
He needs to know how to stop or otherwise disassemble it without the thing literally blowing up in his face. If he doesn't, Danny is going to be in a lot of danger. It could be— and probably was— deadly.
Time is ticking. The Fenton parents were out of town for a day, but Jazz had overheard that they were about to be finished with this project tomorrow.
So Tucker does the last thing he'd think of doing. He texts Tim, asking if he can help him figure out what this Fenton creation does.
Of course, Tim humors his friend. This isn't something new to them.
Tucker begins to send him images of the designs. It's... a cannon. What looks to be a really, really dangerous cannon-like weapon.
Huh. What is that?
Another photo is sent of the actual thing. It's actually built, not just some rough drafts.
And inside, what looks to be a power source, is something glowing a toxic, acidic green. Is that Lazarus Water?
What is THAT?
Tucker isn't exactly begging, but he sounds urgent. Anxious. When Tim asks what the actual hell is this device, he says his friend's parents made it. He's trying to dismantle it, and fast.
Which means these mystery parents are presumably use it.
And that's how Tucker gets to meet Cyborg on a Tuesday afternoon.
The Justice League members are called barely minutes after Victor gets to 'Amity Park' because the radiation is off the charts. It's a "ghost" infested town that doesn't formally exist, says the Internet.
The more they investigate, the more horrifying it becomes. It seems a lone, dead teenager is the protector of thousands of citizens. There's hundreds of calls from here to the JL emergency line spanning back months.
Who is Phantom? And why is this civilian— STEM prodigy or not— know how to deconstruct devices like this?

There are many fanfictions where Denny, as the Ghost King, is summoned by various cults, and thus he meets the Justice League or the BatFamily. However, you know what I've never seen? Denny's complete hysteria in this situation
What am I talking about? Usually, if a sacrifice is used in a ritual, they're still alive by the time Danny arrives, so the king can collect the offering himself. Or there might be no sacrifices at all. Or Danny might become super-cool and immune to sacrifices, and since he's the king of the dead, why would he be afraid of corpses? However, I strongly disagree with
Think about it! When Denny overthrew Pariah, he was only about 15 years old in the cartoon's timeline. Did he see people with abrasions? Yes, often. Burns? Constantly on the bodies of his friends who had been shot by the GIW or the Fentons. Any dirt? Maybe, but only ghosts, and ghosts, firstly, green, which makes the brain perceive this dirt differently, secondly, a ghost can flatten, and he immediately returns to his original form, although just now he was a puddle. Can a people do this? No.
And now, imagine, the news that the King has changed spreads among the cults. Some particularly dubious cult immediately decides to "establish connections" with the new King, and for this, of course, they need the most beautiful sacrifice they can offer. The League is too late, and a number of people have already been brutally slashed in the ritual, perhaps even having their heads impaled on stakes. Danny is called upon, and he is a teenager who has never seen anything like this before
And so the Justice League gets to meet an incredibly powerful teenager, the Ghost King, who is hysterical, maybe even trapped in a ritual circle with the bodies, and it only makes things worse. No one expected this reaction from the Ghost King, and the League is already starting the "victim" protocol in his direction, and all they want to do right now is get the boy out of the traumatic situation and figure out what the hell is going on.

Keep thinking about this Demon Twins AU where; Danny and Damian aren't close. Danny is essentially seen as spare parts for Damian, so Damian grew up being told he was serperior to Danny in every way and it created this dynamic where Damian looked down on Danny and Danny struggled with loving his brother and being resentful. Danny's stint as Phantom was a mission to look into the Fentons, but dying and becoming Phantom seemed to wake Danny up and made him realise how screwed up the situation was, so he didn't tell Ras or Talia about his new powers, and he tampered with the Fenton's tech so their portal would never turn on/work properly. Danny still acted like Damian's weak, timid spare parts, but death had changed him.
Cut to when Damian and Danny are both sent to Bruce. Danny no longer feels likes hes traped under the league's thumb, and can finally stand up for himself against Damian, starting with stopping Damian from attacking Tim. Damian is surprised and angry, that his brother dared stand against him. A fight ensues, and for the first time in all of Damian's memories, he lost; Danny beat him.
Siblings angst ensues as Damian very slowly starts unlearning the league's teachings, and starts realizing how truely strained his relationship with his twin really is, as he watches Danny adjust and meld into the family far easier than Damian is able to.
On Danny's end, he also needs to learn and heal from the league, and maybe he'll eventually learn how to forgive, to free himself, but he'll never, ever forget.
Slow burn familial reconciliation
--
Most specifically, I have this scene in my head. It takes place very far into the book, when Damian is doing better and had worked up the nerve to apologize. Danny thanks him for apologizing, but says he doesn't forgive Damian(yet). Dick tries to step in, defending Damian and trying to make Danny see how far hes come.
"Why can't you forgive him? Hes actually apologized! Hes come so far!" Dick insisted, fists clenched in frustration.
"He has, I can admit that, and I'm happy for him." Danny runs a hand through his messily swept hair. "But that doesn't mean everything's fixed."
"He was eight years old!" Dick snapped.
"So was I." Danny's response floated in the stale air. Spoken so plainly, casually, like Danny were commenting on the weather, and yet, it felt heavy on Dick's shoulders.
