The Oath of Love - 余生,请多指教

after a very long wait this drama has aired and ended in such a short period. but still grateful dat dis drama has finally aired. Tencent and Hunan's debt to this drama and both actors fandom has been finally cleared. i love every single of everything in the drama. but before i get started, let me introduce the leads first, starring my fairy monkey actress Yang Zi (Andy Yang) as Lin Zhixiao and Xiao Zhan (Sean Xiao) as Gu Wei. Lin Zhixiao an undergraduate student who's a cellist, young and passionate about her music and Gu Wei a talented "young" surgeon also doctor. in the novel the first encounter each other is at the hospital when Lin Zhixiao take caring of her dad. but unlike novel the drama changed it to a bar instead😂 (it's a surprise i supposed), their first meeting are not lovely, instead Gu Wei is really piss to both Lin Zhixiao and Teacher Lin😜 (obv who wouldn't when stranger suddenly cling on u and another stranger suddenly lectured u) the next meeting is exactly where the place of their meeting from the beginning, the hospital. spoiler alert (and as far as i rmb Gu Wei didn't graduated from the same univ as Lin Zhixiao on the novel but in the drama they r senior-junior from the same univ apparently). Teacher Lin attending doctor are Gao Xi (Gu Wei's classmate and closest female friend, she's the only female friend apparently). Gu Wei caught Lin Zhixiao taking pictures of Teacher Lin's report and after Lin zhixiao runaway, Gu Wei took a close sight of the report and discover smth different from it. he then call Lin Zhixiao mother, Mrs. Li and told them to take another check cause he thought that it might be a cancer. ofc after Lin Zhixiao heard it she doesn't want to accept that unpleasing thing to heard of, she then after Teacher Lin got admitted to hospital to rest and take another examination, heard of some negative rumours on Doctor Gu. ofc she has dislike him before caused of the things he said, and the rumours "proved" that her thought on Gu Wei is right. but then after Gu Wei agreed to meet Lin Zhixiao (withour her knowing the another doctor she's about to meet are the same doctor who told her family that Teacher Lin might got cancer), he use a metaphor to describe the condition and situation about what's happening to Lin Zhixiao. she then finally understand and realized she has misjudged Gu Wei. the arrangement are done by Lin Zhixiao BFF Sansan and Gu Wei's cousin Gu Xiao.

the wait is over and also the drama🥲. keep repeating the OST duet sung by Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan over and over again everyday, i was so excited when they announce the premiere on last 14th march, and still holding myself to not get trick again until the next day 15th march the 1st episode is on air. feel surreal, couldn't believe it. like finally they are here, my long awaited masterpiece has finally arrived. the storyline is pretty much the same as the novel. during 2021, August they announced the premiere would be on 8th September my heart was just like is this really happening, its happening for real right!?!, and then a month later just d-3! 3 days before the "premiere" is postponed due to chinese government doing some changes of regulation in the industry. heartbroken, tricked, pranked yet again. the fandom waited and keep saying things to comfort theirself on numerous platform dat i visit. me too also hoping everyday they will air the drama, hoping there won't be any scandal among the actors from the drama. and yes just last month they announced d-1 before the premiere. i'm impressed by both of them, Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan has gone through a lot before this drama aired, and i'm proud that i waited, the fandom waited! indeed again they didn't let us down, for some people this drama might be just so so, or nothing special. but for the other some this is something u can't let go of even after it has ended (which is me). everything is just right, i might be biased but imo this drama is the masterpiece i've been waiting for. acting, storyline, conflicts, relationship is just all on point. my friends knew dat Love O2O has always been my fav drama, i lost my count of how many times i've watch it, it has been 5+ years. but now i think The Oath of Love gonna replace it. and last but not least, the osts r superb peeps! please do check it out too!!!

Forever and Ever - 一生一世

4months this time peeps😅, as i mentioned before in my last post. this drama is the sequel of "One and Only" and has the same lead but still lemme re-mention their role and name. starring Bai Lu as Shi Yi and Ren Jialun as Zhousheng Chen. as this drama is the consolation version if i may say unlike the previous one (spoiler alert) cause this one has happy ending. so let's get started, telling the story of Shi Yi who is a popular voice actress who dubbed whether dramas/documentaries, she's one of the top in the industry and Zhousheng Chen who is a chemistry professor (who's also one of the top in the industry). Shi Yi dubbed a drama that tells a history of a Nanchen King Jr., Zhousheng Chen who sacrificed himself to save the crown prince and got labelled as traitor who wants to rebel and ascend the throne. she later met a man with the same name as the Nanchen King Jr. which is Zhousheng Chen at the airport coincidentally, when they both are passing through the security checkpoint and both are retained because of something. then Zhousheng Chen left his passport then later got called by the staff when Shi yi just finished putting her heels back. she then stunned and run for Zhousheng Chen to ask for his contact to keep in touch, but Zhousheng Chen is someone who is very traditional i must say doesn't own a phone. so he gave his email instead to Shi Yi, a very unlikely option for nowadays people, but then again he's Zhousheng Chen. then after Shi Yi has received the email address they both went their separated ways to catch on their flight. 6 months later, Shi Yi and Zhousheng Chen still keep in touch by email with each other. and Hong Xiaoyu, Shi Yi's bff who keep teasing her cause she like a man who's unusual and got into the topic where she's going to a city where Zhousheng (again) coincidentally at because he has some kind of temporary project at a university. then tease Shi Yi, since she has a job trip to Xi'an City, since Zhousheng Chen's also there why not go with her and meet him since they haven't met for 6 months. Shi Yi who was contemplating and act like she has a tight schedule eventually gave up and decided to go with Xiaoyu. the next encounter on the trip will be an excited to watch.

same goes with this series i also like the OSTs, all of them are really good. and this drama also adapted from one novel titled “One Life One Incarnations : Beautiful Bones” by Mo Bao Fei Bao (一生一世美人骨). i like how the slow burn romance in this drama but still left deep impression on me. cause i usually like typical romance drama but this drama manage to hook me with different pattern of romance. their deep and slow developed kind of romance is sweet but not frustrating also surely. when Zhousheng Chen make sure of his feeling towards Shi Yi and how Shi Yi gradually understand his nature without complaining. a very mature and pleasing to watch kind of relationship.

One and Only - 周生如故

i'm back with another drama. i didn't plan to watch this drama but because of The Oath of Love postponement i decided to comfort myself with watching other cdrama. but turns out this drama exceed my expectation i should say. starring Bai Lu as Cui Shiyi and Ren Jialun as Zhousheng Chen. spoiler ahead this drama has a sad ending (which is smth i would usually avoid, im the happy ending team peeps) i didnt know that the ending would be like that, because while i haven't completed the drama, i watched the MV OST by Zhang Bichen and at the end of the MV, Shiyi was wearing a red wedding gown and she said "Zhousheng Chen, i'm here to marry you" obv i thought they would have a happy ending because of that. okay let's get started, the story is about a prestigious clans with typical politics during kingdom era. Shiyi has become mute due to the shock she had when she was young caused by the sudden news of her father has left her and she has been given title Crown Princess since she hasn't born yet, which means she is engaged with the Crown Prince (while watching this, i was kinda confused cause the Crown Prince is literally a kid and Shiyi's can be said as a teen) but later on the Crown Prince has changed cause of the Crown Prince has ascended the throne and become the Emperor while Shiyi's still the Crown Princess as the decree said. Shiyi's Uncle who's also the Grand Preceptor has to accept the decree because he got cornered after helping the Crown Prince ascended the throne overnight right after the late Emperor passed away, he was seen as the accomplishment of the Empress Dowager (the late Emperor concubine) but there's still a lot of schemes coming later on. the news of the late emperor has passed away was sent to the West State Military Camp that was led by Zhousheng Chen titled Nanchen King Jr. he just cameback victoriously from a war then was preparing to celebrate but shock by the news, Zhousheng Chen cried (his first crying scene) as he has taken the oath to not step into the Capital State after he left for West when he was child to protect the West and was scared by Liu's clan and the late Emperor cause he was in the line to step into the throne but he decided to gave his last name in order to break those thoughts and went to the West. Zhousheng Chen went back to the Capital State to send off his brother for the last time, but the Empress Dowager has a scheme with Shiyi's uncle, to push Zhousheng Chen enter the state and break his oath in order to prove his loyalty to the new Emperor, then he later on entered unarmed and again he swore to not get married nor have a child so there won't be any groundless rumour about him going to rebel and take over the throne. the Grand Preceptor asked Zhousheng Chen to take Shiyi as his disciples because there's smth to solve between his family and Zhousheng Chen's uncle. He hesitated but gave in to the Grand Preceptor. after he won another war, Shiyi went to the West and then pay a respect to her new master, but she fell in love with Zhousheng Chen at first sight when she first saw him from the city gate celebrating their victorious war. therefore the story of Shiyi's and the beautiful bone has begin.

as i mentioned, i preferred happy ending story and i love romance, this drama has left a deep impression. this kind of romance, affection i have never saw and felt before really has another level of romance. and altho the ending is sad on this drama, u can enjoy the sequel with same lead titled "Forever and Ever". both drama adapted from one novel titled "One Life One Incarnations : Beautiful Bones" by Mo Bao Fei Bao (一生一世美人骨).

Love and Redemption - 琉璃

hello peeps, let's start with the drama. premiered a year ago title Love and Redemption starring Yuan Bingyan a.k.a Crystal Yuan as Chu Xuanji and Cheng Yi as Yu Sifeng. Chu Xuanji is the daughter of Shaoyang Sect Leader who loss her 6 senses, she can't feel pain, taste, or feel because of the tribulations she going through. while Yu Sifeng is a very capable disciple of Lize Palace, they are very mysterious because there's only man and they must wear a mask if they went outside of Lize Palace. on Yu Sifeng 1st trip outside due to attend a banquet that is hold every 4 years by the sects, he accidentally met Chu Xuanji who was dropped by Wu Tong, a disciple from Dianjing Valley that is rebellious and annoying. Yu Sifeng who has never been in skinship with any woman felt shy cause he gave a ride to Chu Xuanji while hugging him from the back since Chu Xuanji didn't know how to fly with her sword due to her low cultivation and also her loss of the 6 senses. Chu Xuanji has a twin sister named Chu Linglong played by Zhang Yuxi. they are always together, whenever Xuanji got into problems and going to get beaten by their dad Linglong always fake cried so Xuanji won't be punish. Lize Palace got many rules such as, Lize Palace disciples aren't allowed to befriend with people outside the palace and fall in love in order to reach the highest cultivation. before the banquet started, Sifeng lost and broke his mask at the Secret Realm when he was trying to save his spiritual beast that entered it accidentally. Xuanji helped Sifeng to open the barrier of the secret realm as Sifeng enter and Xuanji followed him after, they both encounter a dragon beast that guarded the crystal lamp who contain Mosha Star's stellar soul. Sifeng and Jinmi got hurt while fighting the dragon to protect themself. as the banquet started Xuanji, Sifeng, Linglong and Minyan the 6th disciple of Shaoyang Sect, the 4 become close and Sifeng broke another rules of his sect.

when i first watch this, i actually didn't expect too much of it. but it does gave me a lot of surprises as the story continue and unveiled. a to b to c, etc hahaha😂. too many shocking facts but at the end i correctly guessed the point.

The Sword and The Brocade - 锦心似玉

finally watched this one, decided to keep it till i have nothing to watch and finished it within 3 days😂. okay let's begin starring Tan Songyun as Luo Shiyi and Wallace Chung or Zhong Hanliang. story about Luo Shiyi an illegitimate daughter born of concubine who is bullheaded but kind and rational she got married to Marquis Yongping named Xu Lingyi, an upright and honest man who cares deeply to people. too many twists but kinda easy to guess well at least for me in this story, still fun to watch tho don't get me wrong. the usual female lead in ancient story that i watched is the typical innocent, kinda soft and get easily deceived but Luo Shiyi is the total opposite, i find it refreshing haha🤓 and she's also good in embroidery while Xu Lingyi is the typical male lead ice cold, upright and admirable man. Luo Shiyi was planning to runaway from her arranged marriage but who knows that her mother got killed on the day before the runaway happens. The Luo's knew something wrong with the accident but they didn't want to pursue the matter any longer cause the Luo Madam thought it will do no good to the family. Luo Shiyi in despair when she finds out that no one in the family she can rely on to. then she married into the Xu's hoping she can find a lead to her mother killer. she acted carefully and gracefully i must said with so many enemies who dislike her whether because she's born of concubine or because she got a place that is wanted by any woman. Xu Lingyi who is ice cold gradually turns into a warmer person and started to smile often without he realized it the one who changed him is Luo Shiyi. Luo Shiyi also later fell in love with Xu Lingyi cause of his warmer side that's shown only to her. there's also Daddi Tang or Tang Xiaotian as the 2nd male lead he's the 2nd son of Ou's family namely Ou Yanxing he first met Luo Shiyi during the day where Luo Shiyi almost got killed by the pirates also where she got saved by Xu Lingyi. old enemy of Xu's family. but he's also an illegitimate child which made him different, unlike the rest of the family who's cunning and sly he's a warm and kind person. he fell in love with Luo Shiyi not knowing she's already married and is the 2nd wife of Marquis Yongping.

i personally like how Marquis Yongping appreciate everything Luo Shiyi did and how mature their relationship is. after they get through the first and last misunderstanding which where Luo Shiyi got led by the Ou's thinking the one who killed her mother is her husband but that was actually a trap and ofc with few cold shoulder giving and heartbreaking scenes later they talked it out and problems solved.

Falling Into Your Smile - 你微笑时很美

Lliterally back again haha, my apology for my constant MIA. okay let's start, this is my first drama of both the main lead. but i alr knew cheng xiao since she's one of WJSN member. starring Xu Kai as Lu Sicheng and Cheng Xiao as Tong Yao. Lu Sicheng is the captain of e-sport group namely ZGDX and as expected a very oustanding player in the field known not because only of his talent and skill in playing but also one of the heir of his family business that also own the group he's in. he doesn't talk a lot and very cold other people but still maintain his image as a public figure definitely. while Tong Yao is a girl that recently graduated from university and still jobless but playing game everyday while finding her goal after graduating. her mom keep nagging her cause she's a girl who is jobless but still keep playing game that she believe will ruin her future prospect. but in the game that Tong Yao play everyday little did she know that she's actually being tested by ZGDX to find a midsolo player replacing Yu Ming ZGDX's midsolo due to injury and will retire after the spring final game. the first encounter of the main lead is at the elevator where Tong Yao's hand was full of her groceries and she couldn't reach the number of her room and Lu Sicheng who wasn't trying to offer help ended up helped her. but Tong Yao feels it's too awkward and thinking whether Lu Sicheng will think that she's too short then she try to explain to Lu Sicheng that she isn't short with saying that she' actually can reach it but she just carrying groceries that's why she couldn't reach it. and ofc Lu Sicheng only replied with "oh" and get out of the elevator cause he has reached his floor (tbh i don't get it why Tong Yao has to explain cause they are basically stranger atm tho😂). then the day of the spring final game has arrived between ZGDX VS CK. CK is where Tong Yao's ex team in and he's also the captain namely Jian Yang. they broke up back then when Tong Yao was still in university where they both went but Jian Yang didn't graduated cause he drop out to pursue his dream as e-sport player and also due to that they broke up. Tong Yao who has grew up and moved on with the relationship but not the same to Jian Yang. he thought that Tong Yao still mad at him and can't get over him while he's the one that couldn't get over Tong Yao.

there's been a controversies about this drama cause it said that it was adapted from a fan fiction and didn't picture the reality of e-sport world also the background story did happened on reality (Tong Yao and Jian Yang's story) therefore it was given a very low rating tho the drama is very good. there'll be pro and cons for sure abt the story of the drama. but to me at least the drama itself is nice to watch and i don't really know much abt e-sport world but i might understand from e-sport player pov that it might misled peoples on some point but they should've also put into consideration that it's a drama and made for viewer to enjoy. anyway still loved the drama❤.

Love Scenery - 良辰美景好时光

so hello peeps, it's been quite a time since my last post. was busy (again) with my undergraduate thesis and also other things. so let's get started, finished a lot of drama but decided to go with this one first. the title is Love Scenery, starring Lin Yi as Lu Jing and Xu Lu as Liang Chen. my 2nd drama of both female and male 1st lead, met Lin Yi at Put Your Head on My Shoulder and Xu lu at Sunshine of My Life (haven't write abt this one yet so...). so the story is about an undergrad named Lu Jing who met a to-be hit singer named Liang Chen during his high school on both of their (kinda) breakdown moment on the rooftop and had a lil chit chat then cheering for each other. Lu Jing who later become the undergrad remembered Liang Chen as the one who he fell in love with and support her by becoming her fan after she debuted as singer. Lu Jing who is not only a straight-A student but also a popular as gamer/live-streamer with a stage name, Herman. the two came accros again introduced by their friend named Sun Binyu, both don't know each other and only know their "stage" name, Lu Jing with Herman and Liang Chen with Orange (also her nickname). Sun Binyu asked Lu Jing who is a master to guide Liang Chen in a game who she sucked at, she needed to be able to play because she have a job which is going to play "the game" on live stream. Lu Jing can recognize Liang Chen voice very easily and the reason he didn't find out while they talk and play at the same time is because Liang Chen used a cute kinda voice-over as undercover. later a bit they encounter each other lil by lil bit and more often as time goes on. Lu Jing who keep accidentally bump into his long-life crush/idol find out more and more clue on Orange who (is) might be Liang Chen. a lil more later Lu Jing found out that Orange is Liang Chen and is taken aback by it but also extremely happy ofc. he played with her cause she didn't know that Herman a.k.a Lu Jing alr knew that she is "the" Liang Chen. later on they encounter test even before they started the relationship but it's a good thing cause it got them date later on (oops spoiler). Lu Jing is much more aggressive (in a interested way) while dating to Liang Chen. find out the what’s going to happen next urself! cause it’s getting more interesting so if u guys haven’t watch it and plans to watch it, please do so! i hope u guys enjoy the drama like i did!

the drama is good and i really like songs (osts) they r bomb srsly! and also the scenes where they were playing the game cause it's very dramatic (in a cool way) i really got stunned tbh tho it's dramatic lol (what am i even saying here). also the fact Xu Lu didn't sing any of the song in real life but she did a good lipsync in the drama and Lin Yi's glow up from his previous drama i watched is unbelievable.

My Little Happiness - 我的小确幸

am back (again) after MIA lol. a lil bit busy lately and slipped some time to watch drama (actually am sneaking). anyway just finished this drama title My Little Happiness starring Xing Fair as Cong Rong and Tang Xiaotian as Wen Shaoqing. i met them at Put Your Head on My Shoulder where Xing Fair is the 1st female lead and Tang Xiaotian is the 2nd male lead (i don’t really like his character during this drama but the character glow up in My Little Happiness is no joke u guys). so the story is about Cong Rong as an intern lawyer who got placed at a hospital where Wen Shaoqing work as a surgeon. little that Cong Rong know that she and Wen Shaoqing is childhood sweetheart, because of their multiple meeting went wrong caused by Wen Shaoqing attitude. although their first meeting was at airport where Cong Rong first arrived back at China and Wen Shaoqing is going to pick her up by the request of his apparentice which is Cong Rong’s cousin named Zhong Zhen (he’s quite miserable but also cute at the same time). during the waiting Cong Rong saw an old man slowly fainted and she went to help, suddenly Wen Shaoqing appeared and took over. he quickly diagnosed the patient and gave the first aid to the old man. Cong Rong who was present at the scene is amazed by his actions and mesmerized by Wen Shaoqing. after the 911 team arrived and move the patient to hospital, Wen Shaoqing followed and leave Cong Rong behind (both of them didn’t know they were supposed to meet each other yet). then Cong Rong who is almost late for her first internship meeting at the law firm rushed to the parking lot and rent a car. Yunji Hospital which where Wen Shaoqing workplace is one of the toughest and the least aka last resort all the intern would pick. but Cong Rong is new to the field, and the others is hoping she’ll fail her internship at the hospital when she got Yunji Hospital (they pick their own internship place by drawing papers). but with her bullheaded spirit she success the internship and got recognition by the hospital and also the law firm. during her internship Wen Shaoqing finds out that Cong Rong is the one he has been waiting for years. they got separated during Cong Rong sudden move to another place and never come back after she promised to. Wen Shaoqing who has been waiting at the same place where they last met, finally find her when Cong Rong went to find him at the place not knowing the place was “that” place. she hasn’t recall when Wen Shaoqing already find out she’s the one. find out the what’s going to happen next urself! cause it’s getting more interesting so if u guys haven’t watch it and plans to watch it, please do so! i hope u guys enjoy the drama like i did!

and lemme share the story about the 2nd lead couple also. i’m very pleased this time with the 2nd lead couple in dis drama. Wen Rang and Zhou Chengcheng are so cute omg. i really like how the couple tease, talk, and joke with each other. for the first time (i think) for sometimes i couldn’t wait for the 2nd lead couple to appear on the screen more than the 1st lead. but of course when the 1st lead appear i love them because of their sweet affection toward each other.

My Forever Sunshine - ตราบฟ้ามีตะวัน

i occasionally watch thai drama when i feel like it and this one really catch my attention. the story is about a girl named Paeng, she’s hot tempered girl and no one want to befriend with her because of it. Paeng, a girl with a tragic life and she met her childhood friend Arthit who’s also the son of her father best friend. After losing her father whom she really loved, she has to go live at her father best friend house at countryside. Paeng still traumatized by her father passing cause she heard a gun firing on her house when she went to find her dad. she suffered PTSD because of that incident. apart from Arthit’s dad and Arthit himself no one like her, even the housemaids. Arthit who’s on his college break went back to the farm and help his dad to take care Paeng. Paeng who was sad, depressed, and spiritless got to pull herself back again with Arthit’s companion. she started to find her happiness again which she believe it’s Arthit. Arthit didn’t know that Paeng fell in love with him and only take her as his sister by then. when rumor starting to spread around the farm, and Arthit’s mom really mad about it. cause she dislike the ill-mannered Paeng. but little did they know, Paeng’s dad asked Arthit’s dad to promised him something before he passed away, which is to let Arthit and Paeng get married. and after the words got spread and the housemaids scam to kick Paeng out of the house and Paeng heard their plans and thought the only way for her to be able to stay at this house is to be with Arthit. But no one expected that her approaching Arthit and slander him saying he rape her, Arthit’s rage out the house cause he thought his dad didn’t believe him and drove his car in half-drunken state that nearly costs him his life. He ends up hating her to the bones and she is exiled far from home for four years until the day they come across each other again. One might think that time will lessen hate, but not for Arthit. Not only he still hates her, but he also hates her even more than before. he tortured her again and again, but in order to keep her final promise to Arthit's dad, she must endure it for 2 years! Paeng who’s not the same girl as she used to be, she’s more calm and mature than she was play along with Arthit’s game. cause she wanted to prove that she has changed and really sorry for what happened back then, Arthit who thought he will success on kicking her out of the farm but started to care and have feelings for her. find out the what’s going to happen next urself! cause it’s getting more interesting so if u guys haven’t watch it and plans to watch it, please do so! i hope u guys enjoy the drama like i did! i still don’t know why Paeng’s dad kill himself and personally i really hate how Paeng is treated by everyone who dislikes her, she loves her dad so much and it becomes her weak spot. when her dad passed away, people make fun of her being ill-mannered because she’s an orphan who got no parent to teach her attitude. i mean they dislike her for sure okay no doubt, but i think isn’t it way too much for them to say something like she’s an orphan and got no one to teach her. and the housemaids on Arthit’s house, they are just a worker on the house, what right do they have to judge her and insult her so bad? i get that they r older but i still think they got no right to insult her and badmouthing her behind her back, since they are the older ones why r they being such a pain in the ass. way too much for me to handle on the few first episodes, i’d to endured watching all of that hardships of her getting insulted just because she stood up for herself after getting bullied.

okay so peeps, on my first watch for this drama it was just a random mood to click it on youtube but turned out it was a lot better than i expected it to be. cause i watched (and decided to quit cause it’s getting kinda boring to me) Song Yiren’s previous drama titled The Best of You in My Mind, i watched it because i read articles saying it’s a hot on going drama at the moment but kinda failed me so i didn’t continue. okay so the drama starred by Song Yiren as Yuan Qian and Aaron Deng as Qin Shen. the story is about a girl who loves to paint and draw but failed to enroll in the major and ended up in sculpture major, since the beginning of the semester Yuan Qian tried hard to change her major. while Qin Shen is a straight-A, male-god and loner student in sculpture major, he always keep his cold and sarcasm attitude toward anyone. on her way to the changing major test, she ran onto Qin Shen who was holding to his sculpture on a bridge where’s closed for reconstruction. Yuan Qian who’s already late breakthrough the sign and bumped Qin Shen. she ends up fell into the lake and almost drown herself but is saved by Song Siyi. Song Siyi is an athlete who happened to be training at the moment where Yuan Qian’s fell. Qin Shen is two-step late because he wanted to took off his shoe before he jump to the lake to save Yuan Qian😂 (i was speechless on this scene), then he mumbled next time he should save the person instead of taking off his shoe. Yuan Qian who was almost late (and ended up very late) asked Song Siyi to help her grab her painting tools and shen ran to the class soaked and got stopped by the test supervisor. she got asked her admission form for the test and as expected the form also wet, she isn’t allowed to enter the room and left. she failed her chance to change her major on the beginning of semester. and keep entangled with Qin Shen and his friends who’s also her classmates and Qin Shen’s fangirl on high school Ling Wei. since then 4 of them keep entangling each other with many things.

Legend of Yunxi - 芸汐传

hello peeps!!! i’m back with my recommendation (again). this drama is not an on going drama, Legend of Yunxi released during 2018 and the reason why i decided to watch it is because i was waiting for new episodes of the same lead in another drama titled The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion that ended recently😂. i didn’t know until i did some research that Ruyi reunited the same lead couple. i fell in love with the lead couple❤. okay so this drama starred by Ju Jingyi as Han Yunxi and Zhang Zhehan as Prince Qin a.k.a Long Feiye, based on 天才小毒妃 novel by 芥沫 about a girl who mastered and has great interest in poison also a daughter of imperial doctor and a prince who got poisoned when he was a boy and his family got kidnapped by Tiangnan Kingdom. Yunxi lost her mom when she was still a little girl and she got outcast by her family especially by her step mom and step sister. luckily she got bestowed a marriage by empress dowager and the emperor but there’s an evil plot behind this marriage from the imperial palace. the empress dowager and emperor hates Prince Qin and his mother consort and plotted against them since long time. Yunxi was arranged to marry Prince Qin to confirm his identity as the descendant of Wind Tribe by the empress dowager and in exchange the empress dowager help her to reunite with her mother where she believed to be long-lost when she was a girl. she believed the empress dowager and agreed to help her when she was gifted her mother jade bracelet. but before she got the arranged marriage with Prince Qin, Yunxi went to a mountain where at the top of it has a temple slash hide-out of the Tiangnan’s crown prince to develop Gu-abetted man. Prince Qin went to the temple with his man to rescue the victim who become the guinea pigs and he fell from the cliff when he was about to escape, but accidentally met Yunxi who was trying to “steal” Shenyou grass from the cliff to cure her face that has a scar. they fell and Prince Qin interrogated Yunxi why she was at the cliff that night and what was she doing. Yunxi answered telling she was trying to take the medicine that can cure her scar, but when Prince Qin lowered his guard Yunxi spread a powder that weaken Prince Qin so she could escape but before she escape she hit Prince Qin and found an interesting book that contains a lot of information regarding poison which later taken by her. she saw Prince Qin’s face and Prince Qin wanted to kill her and she ran away to valley called ghost-herb valley, that valley contains a poisonous smoke around and Prince Qin failed to enter but not Yunxi. she ate a pill that could detox the poison and met Gu Qishao who is the owner of the valley. back to the wedding part, Yunxi late arrival (and also the wedding) is rejected by Prince Qin’s mother called Consort Yi. but Yunxi made her way into the Qin’s mansion and married “alone” to the mansion. she waited at the wedding room till Prince Qin cameback from his “trip”, he was lured by someone who wants to frame him as a minister murderer. he got poisoned and luckily got detox by Yunxi who is a poison genius. Yunxi didn’t know Prince Qin’s identity when she was rescuing the man who suddenly show up at the room, but when the healing process is done and try to make Prince Qin leave, Prince Qin then revealed his identity and told Yunxi he is her husband. Prince Qin has a high awareness towards anyone who isn’t his people. Yunxi try to prove she’s useful to Prince Qin and they both fell in love with each other within the process.

i hated how they keep fighting and got back again after because it was always caused by misunderstandings! (but still cute-ugh this love-hate emotion)

Overlord - 九流霸主

hello peeps! back again with my recommendation☺️ i got interested to this drama because i watched the previous drama of the couple lead. tho the male lead was only as the supporting roles on The King’s Avatar and Eternal Love, but it was quite funny😋 as the female lead u guys might alr know! it’s the (not so) recently finished Love is Sweet before this drama aired. okay so the drama is starred by Bai Lu as Long Aoyi and Leon Lai as Li Qingliu. as for the story is about Long Aoyi, a woman who’s a gang leader from the lower class of Silver City and Li Qingliu who’s a well-known businessman from the higher class in the city. it was started when Long Aoyi who got drunk a night before dealing with some man and have another gamble duel with another gang called Snake Gang to take control in the lower class the next day. Li Qingliu who’s on his way to a restaurant to promote his Xinsilu’s silk store latest release product. on both their way to the same place, Long Aoyi wanted to puke and got off from her cart and Li Qingliu’s cart who’s behind hers got stopped. after Long Aoyi’s done puking, she went back but got into the wrong cart and met Li Qingliu. after some argument, Li Qingliu kicked Long Aoyi out of his cart and they both went to the restaurant dealing with their own business. while both gang gambling competition on roll, the snake gang played dirty and made Long Aoyi fell into a private room where Li Qingliu promotion held and teared his masterpiece, Li Qingliu with his quick-witted sense fixed the problem on scene and made Long Aoyi as his model by force. after Long Aoyi finished her part time with Li Qingliu, she rush back to her gambling spot against the snake’s (literally they played like snake), on the last round the snake’s gang played dirty again with placing their expensive belonging which the long’s gang didn’t have because they are known as a poor gang unlike snake’s because they monopoly the silk tax with an insider on government. Li Qingliu who has done his business went out and wanted to use the chance to take control on the silk tax when he found out that the snake’s gang placed the authority as the bet. Li Qingliu whispered to Long Aoyi saying he wanted to help and he guaranteed that she will win this round by giving the silk store deeds that he has. Long Aoyi felt uneasy at first but gave in right after the snake’s gang leader rushed her. the bet continued, and Long Aoyi won, the snake’s gang who always played dirty didn’t want to admit it but did anyway at last. but when the leader found out that the deeds were fake, he raged and wanted to kill them cause he feel cheated (when he himself always cheat everytime). then he try to kill Long Aoyi in every chances he gets, started on the day where Li Qingliu’s Xinsilu was going to produce their clothe with the gold thread but went missing on it’s way to Xinsilu. Snake Gang played trick and frame Long Aoyi’s gang stole the gold thread. Li Qingliu did suspect Long Aoyi but he knew things isn’t that simple, there must be something that he missed. so they began their investigation together and eventually got closer together even after he got the gold thread back. 

tbh, i didn’t even realized it was coming to an end when i watch it because the storyline on politics, friendship, etc (beside the romance of the lead) is quite good to catch up. but the thing is that their romance started on probably the last 6-8 episodes when the drama itself is 36 episodes long🙄.

The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion - 如意芳霏

okay so i’m back with my recent finished drama! and guess what? i’m totally in love with this drama🥰 i can’t even describe how! so this drama reunited the couple lead from 2018 drama titled Legend of Yunxi. starred by Ju Jingyi as Fu Rong and Zhang Zhehan as Prince slash Duke Su (the subtitle mentioned Duke instead of Prince peeps) or Xu Jin. i didn’t follow or even knew this drama exist till i saw a bit of the drama clip where Fu Rong was chased by Ju Shui’s guards and got saved by Duke Su on instagram and contemplating whether should i watch cause i’ve another on going drama but ends up watching it and completely topped others of my on going list! so without further ado, the story started at Fu’s Residence where Fu Rong was staring at her lil bro’s fish kite that stuck on a tree. she was trying to get away (from climbing the tree) with responsibility blabbering but failed😂 then she offered to buy her brother new kite but Guan Ge (her lil bro) refused and she finally agreed to help her bro to take the kite then went up to the tree. she finally almost reached the kite but suddenly her father appear on the scene which made her surprised and she fell off the tree. she scratched her hand and broke her bracelet (the bracelet was a gift from her master named Liu Ruyi who is also the owner of Ruyi Pavilion) day has changed to night and Fu Rong went to sleep. she often foresee something bad that will happen when she’s dreaming and always want to change that thing. she dreamed an accident will happen on Yuedan commentary by Ju Shui. Ju Shui is a famous writer slash Fu Rong’s childhood friend who’s also a disguised figure by Duke An the younger brother of the current Emperor (Duke Su’s father). next is about Duke Su who just got back from the front line from endless war to the capital because his dad wants him to investigate the corruption that’s currently happening in the capital. Duke Su is an outcast who got foreseen as a bad luck and short life when he was born. Duke Su has enemies everywhere as he just got back to the capital because of the rumor circling and also because he’s investigating the corruption case. he got invited bu Ju Shui to the Yuedan commentary, and the bad things who was foreseen by Fu Rong will happen to Duke Su (𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁! no worries peeps, Fu Rong saved Duke Su!) a day before the event, Fu Rong tried to investigate the place which placed at Ju Shui Pavilion, but end up got chased by his guards😂 (the scene that made me watch this drama HAHAHA-unimportant, skip!) before the chasing scene, Fu Rong disguised as a man slash fortune-teller and built a stall in front of Ju Shui Pavilion, Duke Su arrived and came to the stall cause he wanted to find out whether he will die young or not. Fu Rong said Duke Su is bless with wealth and will get noble rank also have a long life. she ran-away to get her main intention done but failed and got chased. at the almost end of the chasing scene, she spread some powder to the guards so they’ll become temporary blind but it fireback at her so when almost got caught, Duke Su saved her! they went to somekind of river(?) and chit a bit of chat also his face almost got discovered by Fu Rong and she also warned him to not join the Yuedan commentary because a disaster will happen, then left her after. the day where the commentary held arrived, they finally met again. Fu Rong found out something was strange on the top of the hall because it was the only spot that’s clean when the others are dirty. the event started and a block dropped right infront of Duke Su but Fu Rong saw someone cutting a rope before then rushed toward Duke Su and saved him! before she run away, Duke Su caught her hand and said “it’s you again” (he recognized Fu Rong because of yesterday fortune-telling things but not Fu Rong obviously because Duke Su was wearing a hat that covered his face). after he spoke, Fu Rong recognized the voice and knew he was the man that almost kill her yesterday. Duke Su presume Fu Rong wanted to kill him at the beginning, not only Duke Su that has negative thoughts, Fu Rong also take Duke Su as a jinx. after they clear their misunderstanding on each other, they keep accidentally bumped into each other unintentionally and fell in love with each other. okay imma gonna stop it’s getting too long here🥴

i really love the lovey-dovey of Duke Su and Fu Rong and hate the fights between them (well of course, i mean who would want the couple to fight rite peeps😌) the same kind of fight at Yunxi is happening again in this drama i tell u dat. let’s not forget about Fu Rong’s big sis Fu Xuan and one of Duke Su’s trusted man Wu Baiqi love story too. i really appreciated small detail provided by the production team, at the beginning of new faces there’ll be an introduction of the character. to me it really helped a lot. i love the lead characters especially Fu Xuan, she’s such a precious sister. how the Fu’s sister cares for each other is really touching (reminds me of my sis🥺). let’s not forget Duke An that’s very cunning in this drama, he love nong nong (Fu Rong’s little name at home) also try to kill Duke Su because he thought Duke Su killed his mom and try to split Duke Su and Fu Rong along the drama with dirty tricks (it’s getting worser in every episode) - if only Duke An was as cute as he is on the spin-off episodes i would not resist to find him cute🤪
