This is an old picture of our Songwriting residential course back in 2013 :) were running a half day event for adult learners to begin to explore songwriting as a hobby, for its cathartic and fulfilling properties! This half day event is in person, but for a large portion of the day you will have your own room to explore ideas and have a go at some ideas. Today we get our recording project started! 2020 marks ten years of Igloo Music and we had a great big showcase planned for April. That of course was kaiboshed, so we’re doing an album instead! Ordinarily we’d be recording in groups and sections but as it stands we’ll doing it one person at a time, even if it takes us until our 12th anniversary to do that! Another fantastic day in the Igloo today. Lovely upbeat sing-a-long this evening on zoom, followed by one of our youngsters singing on Facebook Live to give a performance for her Duke Of Edinburgh Award 🥇 (well done 👍 👍 !!). Finished with som Fleetwood Mac from R&B guitar group and a great discussion about getting into singing harmony vocals with one of our adult learners. Varied and productive day! Well done Iglooers!
