Gears of Industry Subway Poster

I am a big fan of the Industrial Music Scene and as I stated on a prior piece a fan of propaganda poster art.  This was my first attempt at creating a Subway size poster and I feel it turned out quite well.

The actual dimensions of this piece are 54" x 41"

I created this piece in Illustrator and it is based on a part of Homer's "Iliad" where the Goddess Athena is standing behind the battle lines of the Spartan Army as they get ready to invade Troy.

My inspiration for this piece, besides the story is rooted in Soviet Propaganda during the rise of the Communist Movement.

All in all this piece took me over three weeks to create since it was my first real digital painting.
