I got a used copy of ultra sun and have been speed running it to get to the end. The egg the breeder gave me was shiny! Is this one of those guaranteed ones or did I just get lucky?

I've been thinking of making a "normal" salandit evolution tbh. salazzle is cool and all, but it is kinda weird.
Yes! Do it! I love salandit, but the whole female-exclusive-hormone-harem thing that salazzle has going for it is just very uncomfortable (for me, at least). I would love to see your take on a new evolution, show me if you make any progress 💙

You ever realize all the millennial energy that Jessie, James, and Meowth give off? Case in point…
they’re 25 years old (Meowth is probably a young adult in pokémon years) who
are frequently broke and can barely afford basic living expenses
often waste money on stupid shit they don’t really need
but will always sacrifice funds for their friends
Jessie has many ambitions but lacks the money, skills, and resources to make them happen
James rejected the lifestyle and marital expectations of his parents in the pursuit of his own freedom
Meowth wasted his energy to learn a skill that didn’t lead to the life of happiness he expected
they work for a “company” led by a dismissive boss, fully expecting to be promoted for their hard work
frequently take on part-time jobs (which they’re very good at) to support their long-term career goals
James collects trinkets that are ultimately useless besides sentimental value
Jessie partakes in hobbies/competitions that are typically outside her age group for the fun of it
Meowth craves affection to the point that he projects fantasies onto his boss
Wobbuffet is a one trick pony, but does that trick very well
are often depicted as having horrible book smarts, but carry a lot of emotional intelligence
will jump at the prospect of free food
When we were kids, we all wanted to be like Ash Ketchum.
But we all grew up to be Team Rocket.

Simple symphony had been lots of fun! My battle ranking of 1444 isn't great lol, but our wins to loses is about half, and there have been some really exciting games.
Shoutouts to my Gigalith, Stoutland and Musharna core, with Arcanine as bench backup 😍🎊

Okay, I guess something that really pisses me off about that writing post is its lack of acknowledgement of this:
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GET IT WRONG.
It’s not going to magically damn you forever. It’s not going to cause the apocalypse. It does not make you a terrible person, and given the difficulty of publishing and the number of books authors on average sell, not that many people are going to see it or be hurt by it.
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GET THINGS WRONG.
In two years time, you might go back and look at it and groan because how could you fuck up like that? But we all fuck up, one way or another, and here’s a secret. Every damn thing you write is going to have some massive problem. Most of the time? You’ll find it AFTER the thing is published. It may be horrendous typos. It may be someone having three arms in a sex scene. It may be referring to a character with a word that you realize later is offensive, or it may be referring to a character with a word that wasn’t offensive when you wrote the thing, but became offensive later on. (Language is not static, remember that, and it is NOT your fault when it changes on you, and it is NOT your fault if you can only make limited corrections to the work accordingly.)
YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GET THINGS WRONG.
Because the best bit of writing advice I ever got, when I was around 15 or so, was when I asked one of my gay internet friends about writing gay characters. I was scared stiff of getting it wrong, you see, because of sentiments like the original post. What he told me was this:
“You realize we’re just ordinary people, right?”
Circumstances may be different, but if you’re writing speculative fiction, circumstances and cultures change. Retain respect of personhood in your writing, research circumstances you want to use particular to our world, and go and write.
BECAUSE YOU ARE ALLOWED TO GET THINGS WRONG. IT DOESN’T MAKE YOU TERRIBLE, IT JUST MAKES YOU A PERSON WHO MADE A MISTAKE–AND REMEMBER, NOT EVERYONE AGREES ON WHAT ‘GETTING THINGS WRONG’ ACTUALLY MEANS. SO BE KIND TO YOURSELF.

I expected to see so much trick room in simple symphony, but I've been the only user out of the 15 games I played so far :o
