I often think about Marta’s face after that kiss because it turned her world on its head, but Fina’s little face too because she’s wanted to kiss Marta so badly for so long and the expression she has when she pulls back! 😭
It’s like she’s stunned that she was able to even kiss her, and then there’s so much vulnerability in her eyes when she looks into Marta’s because even though she’s the one who took the lead here, Marta is still Marta. She’s the woman she’s been in awe of and respects more than anyone and who she’s looked up to her whole life and has been intimidated by. But that it’s also Marta who has been kind to her and affectionate with her, and the woman she has fallen completely and hopelessly in love with. And now Fina has kissed her and Marta kissed her back, and smiled at her without running away or recoiling in regret.
And then her face shifts from stunned to joy as a smile creeps into the corners of her mouth, realising they’re about to start an amazing and beautiful journey together.
