What would Undertale be like if you were gaining LIKE instead of LOVE. Would the game just be destroying the world through filter effects and impact text/emojis? Would flowey be an emoji

I’ve been thinking about this way too much, here’s a couple more things: 1) Papyrus's handle on UnderNet is CoolSkeleton95, Undyne's is StrongFish91. These might be the years they were born. Blooky’s is NAPSTABLOOK22, but who knows how old they are.

2) The Dogi lost to the Dreemurrs in the Nuzzle Champs competition of '98 (unless these competitions were held in different ‘98s)

3) Toriel has been in the ruins for long enough for Papyrus to not know who she is; Sans says she laughs like it’s “the best joke she’s heard in a hundred years.” Sans can tell how many times you’ve died by your face, so he might be dead on there.

4) (small one) The Royal Memorial Fountain in the MTT hotel was built in 201X, so presumably Chara was in the underground for <10 years.

5) We don’t know the average lifespan of a monster, but Burgerpants says he’s “only 19 years old,” so it’s probably similar to the lifespan of a human.

Because of this, the current year is probably around 211X. The only weird things about this is that it makes the Dogi over a hundred years old (odd because their parents were(are??) alive at the same time as Alphys), and it means eight humans fell within 100 years after zero humans falling since whenever the war was (”Long ago”/”Many years”, according to the intro).

That’s all I’ve found so far.

201X - Chara falls, makes a family with Goatdad, Goatmom and Goatfriend

201X+some years - Chara dies, Asriel crosses barrier, comes back, dies, Asgore Declares War On Humanity, Toriel dumps him, The Royal Guard is established

Unknown time span - Six humans fall and are killed, their souls are contained. Gaster is royal scientist during this time most likely

Probably a year or two at least - Alphys does experiments on monster souls using determination taken from human souls, Bad Things Happen (Flowey appears)

A year at the least - Flowey deals with existence, fucks with people, grows lonely, etc (a year timeline skipped a thousand times probably)

???? - Frisk falls

The unknowns are the exact time Gaster disappeared, where exactly in that span babyfish Undyne followed Gerson around and then trained under Asgore as a teen, she probably became leader of the Royal Guard shortly before Frisk fell as everyone was still commenting on the position and how she fought her way to it.

I’d imagine Undyne was following Gerson around before the Royal Guard was established. Gerson didn’t fight humans after the war and was never mentioned to be int he Royal Guard. So she was just an urchin when Chara and Asriel died. 

Which means she likely was working her way into the Royal Guard when the first few humans fell and became the leader when Frisk did.

The biggest clue here is that Flowey came alive AFTER the six humans fell, due to Alphys experiments. So for Flowey, the time being apart from Chara feels long due to not just the resets but being dead and hazy.

I want to let people know about this app, especially for those people who suffer from social anxiety where telephone communications might be triggering or uncomfortable.

It’s called “TalkTo” and is available for iOs devices for FREE here and is also available in Google Play for Android devices! Essentially, it allows you to ask businesses questions by sending a text message instead of calling. For businesses that aren’t set up to answer a text message or an email (it will try to send it either way) a TalkTo agent will make the call FOR you, and then will text you back with the company’s response.

I have used this app to make reservations, check for stock, check store hours, and more. Certain businesses will have a higher response time than others but if you ask ahead of time then you won’t have a problem. I sent a restaurant a question this afternoon (see picture) and i had a response within 15 minutes.
