You may have noticed that there have been no updates regarding The Narrative Parable in a while! Just to let you all know, it is still being worked on!

There has just been a lot of revisions as of late, Narrators have come and went, progress has definitely slowed, but The Narrative Parable is very much alive. Thank you all for waiting, as we're making it the best it can be!

Once my friend Henry was accused of wearing wireless headphones by a substitute so she said for him to hand them over so he took them off and handed them to her. Then later on she asked him a question and he didn’t respond so she said it louder and he still didn’t respond. She asked why he was not responding and he said “I can’t understand you ma'am, you took my hearing aids.”

Well I've drawn her with one because this picture happens after ending of kuroshitsuji when grell lives happily ever after and all her wishes came true (yana better won't be having any other plans)

Meanwhile in another story, Narry tried to warn Stanley about the bucket's evil plans. It uh... yeah... doesn't work out. Good thing there is a reset button! :D!!

Still really funny that Marvel named a movie “Endgame” and sold it as the final culmination of the MCU where they killed off two main characters and retired a third and then were shocked when people started losing interest in the MCU after that

have you ever owned a cat

I don't believe anyone gets to own a cat. At best you get to feed them, make a fuss of them, clean the litter bin, clean up the vomit, pet them until they get bored, and, in the end, sometimes, bury them.

I've attended to many cats in the last 30 years, for years never having fewer than 7 cats, but when Princess died in 2013 (aged around 22) I felt that I was done with having my heart broken by how much longer we live than cats do, at least for a while.

But I got my first dog in a decade last year, ten years after swearing, heartbroken, never to have another dog, so there may well be more cats in my future.

Neil, I read on Twitter that you’ve finished the scripts! Is that true? (Or is the internet lying to us again?)

The Internet is lying. Scripts 1-3 are finished, as I'm pretty sure I've said here, the script for Episode 6 exists in first draft, and we are working on episode 4 right now.

It took some searching, but I finally unearthed the trade tokens from my old shop on the bridge. Rather the worse for wear, but still legible!

The lack of small denomination coins at that time made everyday purchases difficult. Traders took it upon themselves to issue farthing (a quarter of a penny) and half-penny tokens to fill the gap.

Shops could give these tokens as change, and would accept other traders’ tokens. Thus, for example, Mister Finch of ‘The Dog’s Head’ might come to me with twenty-four of my half-penny tokens, and redeem them for a shilling.

The practice survived for some several decades until, in 1672, a proclamation was issued by Charles II that copper farthings and halfpence stamped at the Mint would be the only permitted coinage, and the issuing of private tokens largely ceased.

You might be interested to know that the discussion of minting /legal/ small coinage was discussed by the Commonwealth Government — as beneficial to the poor — as early as 1651. Despite this, nothing was done about it. For almost thirty years.
