hello hello selfshippers who are fat. I have an important message for you.

your f/os love you just the way you are. you could EASILY pull them. they aren’t attracted to you in SPITE of your body, but BECAUSE of it. it’s part of you, and they love YOU.

they will celebrate your moments of high self esteem and encourage self love. they will be there for you in the moments the world’s hostility gets you down and you can’t see what there is to love.

above all, they’ll treat you like a person. not a problem to be fixed. they will not hound you about “being concerned about your health.” if you do have health issues they’ll speak about that respectfully with you, not jabbing at your appearance.

if you are physically intimate, they will highlight how much they love the parts of your body you’ve decided you don’t like through touch and affection. if you aren’t, they’ll compliment you and you’ll be able to see the sincerity written all over their face.

they won’t give weird non-compliments like people often give to fat people (I.e. “able to withstand the cold,” “fluffy,” “soft”) unless you express that you’re ok with or fond of something. if they say something about your body that makes you uncomfortable, they will genuinely apologize and not say it again. you are a person they love, and even if finding the right words can be difficult for your particular f/o they will make it right. you’re a person, and deserve to be complimented like a person…not a piece of outdoor equipment or a blanket.

your f/o will make sure eating isn’t a chore. a lot of fat people are made to feel like eating is a sin and a moral failing rather than something that must be done to stay alive, and your f/o will not tolerate that sort of thinking. they will do everything they can to make eating enjoyable, and remind you that if it’s something you need to do to survive it’s perfectly fine to have fun and enjoy it too.

your body is not a moral failing. you are a person. and your f/os adore every facet of who you are. remember that.
