Illegal Break-in

I was following Speakeasy when he returned to his place. Once he entered, he realized that there was someone searching for things on the bar counter. He did not ask the uninvited guest what he was doing there. In stead, he hid behind the shelves and observed, before he suddenly rushed out and barked loud. That poor visitor (Fulton or Taxi, I couldnt be sure) jumped like a frightened cat and ran away.

It was like a live Tom and Jerry show.

I was the only one following Speakeasy, so as he walked from the shelves into the bar, both he and I were laughing so hard, but none of the other white masks remaining in the bar knew why.

Fulton

So I wanna share something about Fulton. It was such a sweet moment.

Fulton went to Paisley Sweets and was choosing candies for Agnes. He took out three different kinds of candy, put them on his hand, and reached out his hand to the girl who’s followed him for a long time.

The girl chose one of the candies, and gave it to Fulton. Instead of taking it, he took out another candy from the jar (the same one as the girl chose), and left the previous one with the girl.

I was the girl.

This is probably a question with an obvious answer lol but when you create your cast lists, for the 6th floor nurse, how do you determine who plays this role (if you didn't happen to get the 1:1 with her). Is it simply whichever performer on the cast board you didn't see in the show (so process of elimination) or is there another way to tell? Just curious - thanks!

I got her one on one last night, actually, I was directly put on the 6th floor by the elevator (which is just a matter of luck). But most of the time, I don’t see her throughout the show, so sometimes the lists i post just don’t have her name. I might guess who played her depending on the board, but as you might know, the board isn’t always reliable, so I don’t put the guessed name on my cast list.

However, there are several ways you can know who she (sometimes he!) is:

Some 6th floor nurses dress up and welcome the audience back with other bar characters in Manderley when the show is over. Some might say goodbye to audience at the entrance of the hotel. But remember, this does not always happen, and when she does that, she is not in her 6th floor nurse costume.

6th floor nurse does her one on one with audiences randomly dropped by the elevator, and after all audience have been sent into the hotel, she comes to the 5th floor and take people up to do her one on one. That’s when you get to see her. I don’t wanna spoil when and where to find her in public, in case people want to find her on their own. But if you are really curious, send me a DM and I would love to tell you.

Praying for Ernesto Porter and Umi Lady M

With cast change coming up are there any current residents that you would like to see take on new roles?

Here are a few off the top of my head…

Ingrid Kapteyn - I know she plays a ton of roles, I’d just like to see her in more of them. I’m hoping to see her in a few more this contract cycle.

Nate Carter - Porter. Please, please McKittrick gods.

Camara McLaughlin - I think Camara would be fascinating in a red dress!

Ernesto Breton - I’d love to see Ernesto tackle the role of Porter. I think he’d be amazing in it. 

Jeffrey Docimo - I know it’s not a big dance role, but I feel like Jeff would do something insanely awesome with the Taxidermist.

Evan Fisk - Why Evan doesn’t play Boy Witch and Porter, I’ll never understand.

Jamal Abrams - I’ve only seen Jamal as Speakeasy, and I loved his performance. I’d really like to see what he does with other roles. 

Umi Akiyoshi - Umi is brilliant, and I’d love to see her version of all of the roles she doesn’t currently play.

Sleep No More Shanghai Anniversary Program

It was SNM Shanghai’s 3rd anniversary, and they made a special program for it. A friend did me a favor by buying one and sending it to me. The book containes lots of beautiful pictures, and records in detail every event that happened in the hotel. I think it is time to share some parts of the book, and you might see some familiar faces
