Touch me softly for I may break
My past in pieces lay awake
My mirror’s broken and I am blind
I lean on you, your warm embrace
Skin and blood around my frame
Touch me softly, say my name

We find sanity in the
Mundane, I think—
The way a button always
Rattles in the dryer,
The way laundry becomes
A threaded ocean in which
To drown, how dishes
Never disappear
We are slaves to this
Sameness, iridescent bubbles
Built of dawn dish detergent
Nursed by secret resentments
Our prosaic prison, bars of
Boredom, life is the grit
Under our nails that
Never quite comes clean

people on here r rly like 'attraction to big people is fetishistic, attraction to small people is pedophilic, having sexual thoughts about a real person is objectifying and basically harassment (and having them about fictional people is perverted), kinky sex is immoral, if youre open about your sex life in any way youre a pervert, if youre not open about them you are queerbaiting. basically you should be completely sexless while everything you do is sexualized and up for debate/speculation. this is good for the lgbt community'

Not to be a prick about touching some fucking grass, but...
It does hurt. Way too much. Why are we just being so...sad? We Made internet culture this way! That friendship you had is over. Gone. Frankly, probably, honestly, and humbly... they're gone forever.
Haven't we all regretted doing this at some point?
And what else did we expect? We come here in search of our own personal ideals and we cut contact with everyone who feels better than us, screwy, ignorant, unstable, or fake? Where is the room for growth?
I don't want mourn them. They abandoned that blog because it wasn't who they wanted to be anymore. I'm not who they want to know anymore. They were running from someone, from themself, or just the shame of being seen by (often incensed and persistent) haters. They're abandoning us, pretending we are computers.
You, honestly, probably didn't earn their phone number, and frankly you probably don't trust them enough to hand out your own, right? They're strangers... Even though you've known each other for forever, they're still just... Online Friends.
You know what makes a stranger into a friend? Raising the stakes. Exchange info. Depend on one another. Be angry when they abandon you and stop hanging your head like it's inevitable. You don't deserve being ditched because someone got bored! We say that all the time here. You're special for being you. You're loved. You're great and good and wanted... But then we abandon one another, hoping someone will fill our old shoes. It's crap.
Be the change we ALL want to see: be real, with me.
Stop ghosting people you value, and make it habit. DO give away your info to those you feel safe around. DO take risks with strangers. DO video chat, use your real voice, and expect people to do the same. Trust isn't a human folly, it's a point of strength for our species. One crappy catfish out of a hundred real friends ISN'T going to get you killed. In fact, your real friends will inevitably protect you as best as they can. They're INVESTED in you.
Stop pretending you're an island, content with nebulous self-care and shitposts. Be broken. Online. Now.
Or...
The alternative is seeing that ex you're stalking reblog this and wondering "is this reblog about me?" Because it probably is.
Shout out to all your internet friends who are gone.
Those messenger screen names that haven’t logged on in ages, some before detailed profiles were a thing on those services.
Those emails that are long since abandoned, some with domains that no longer exist.
Those online friends you knew years ago and who then helped shaped you in some way, who you just can’t FIND anymore.
Those people who once were, and hopefully still exist IRL, that seem to have no known internet life anymore.
And those who have actually passed on, and their online lives are now a memorial to them.
I miss you all. I hope life is/was kind to you, and maybe one day, we’ll somehow connect again.

Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, etc. are humanoids, right? Many Pokemon out-class our only defense mechanisms on a regular basis. They're hyperintelligent. For all intents and purposes, they'd actually be our natural predator, except that we carry our captive guard dogs on us at all times, right? Isn't this what Legend of Arceus was trying to teach us?
So
are wild Ralts just, like, homeless kids? Are they just out on errands? Maybe runaways? Playing in their yards? Orphans? Overconfident campers? Unskilled nomads? Unwitting toddlers who regularly get caught up in a mindless machine fueled by violence and kept afloat exclusively by endless child-abductions and immorally-lawful enlistment into personally-funded wars raged only by the guardians of Homo Sapiens Sapiens against the slaves of other would-be guilty H.S.S. people?
Am I even catching an "it?"
Can I call it adopting them if they never asked for this?
Is this... what kidnapping feels like?
...I don't know if I want to catch 'em all anymore...
Nah, jk they're not real people 🙄

A tree drops their leaves like small blankets in winter,
A mouse will make nests of their fur.
The birds in the trees collect sticks, grass, and feathers,
But I just lay, thud, on the floor.
If I don't shuck the weight of this chainmail I made soon,
What will I do in the frost?
Winter as an enemy

A poem:
The falling leaf is just a tree reaching to be one with the earth in which it lives.
A story:
I am a falling leaf, soon to meet the floor with open arms and die.
A fact:
I feel like a leaf careening gently towards certain death, dancing as I go.
Fact is merely the now, stories are always in the past, but poems live within our flowing consciousness of what could be, based on what was.
Biographies fade, fairy tales cheapen, but poems highlight the cracks in our ongoing reality and can only come and go with the rising and surging of your own empathic awareness.
A poem is eternal.
Don't tell me how you feel. Show me what I would call it.

The presence of life itself has become considered an inefficient, nigh unto dangerous misuse of property.
When you notice a footpath just rip up the forest it goes through.
When you notice leaves in your parking lot replace your trees with thorny bushes to deter vagrants who dare park their cars and try to leave there while shopping.
Even better, keep pedestrian traffic OUT.
When you see a cool, plant-filled, city-bound oasis of a retaining pool just drain it.
If you hear the frogs bemoan your choices shoo them out and let the grasses take their place.
If you see people who don't travel by jet or public transport just don't let them sit.
The road is for the traveler.
The traveler may never rest.
Die shade trees and privacy bushes, wooden seats and breeze.
We don't need you here; we have lamps, patrols, and metal seats in the heat.
Are you weak willed and need some water?
I heard Flint has plenty left.
Tumblr media
Photo: a bird's nest rests on a pile of gravel, overlooking an unusually large, and empty, strip mall parking lot. The main building featured is a John's incredible pizza, which sits adjacent to the formerly wooded area (out of sight, to the right). There is little to no shade seen, save from a handful of medium-to-small-sized trees by the road.
Found a bird's nest on a pile of excavated gravel today. The frogs that used to live on it have moved away.

is there a smell comparable to space ? i assume we dont know because we would die if we tried to smell it but thats so cool
yeah if humans tried to smell space just like that, we’d die, no doubt about it
but the smell of space lingers on spacewalk suits, and docking hatches when astronauts open them!
apparently, space itself smells like burning hot metal, or a hot barbeque grill with a slight hint of spent gasoline. The moon, apparently, smells like a gun after its been shot!
The coolest thing about it all is that the smell is actually what are left of dying stars- it’s literally the smell of stardust, and the particles smell like that because they’re so rich in hydrocarbons- something so very essential to life, and speculated by a lot of astronomers and astrobiologists and such to be the very thing life on earth started from!
another neat fact is that no two solar systems smell the same- ours smells like that because our solar system in particular is extremely rich in carbon, and other solar systems and places in the universe will have extremely different smells depending on what elements are most abundant in their system!
