This art was so painstaking for me, I tried to put so much into it.

After all the hate on this spike on Twitter, I wanted to do something for those who truly believe in this couple so they don’t feel like outcasts in the fandom🥺🫶🏼

But as much as I doubt myself, deep down I’m insanely proud of myself🥹

I was inspired to continue writing the fic that I decided to create additional art for it🥹

Kate never had time to focus on one incident , not when UNIT had pressing threats every day .

She nods, “Thank you Doctor. “ It had been difficult navigating UNIT in a mostly male dominated environment but they were getting better “I hope he’d be proud of changes I made.”

“It is true, Doctor. Those things that can’t be explained, they don’t keep me awake at night because I didn’t discover what it was . At some point a person has to let go or it would drive me insane. Even if there is an explanation, it doesn’t mean I will always discover what it was.“

Kate felt guilty she wasn’t there but she doubted her father would have even known if it was as peaceful as the Doctors had said.

Kate nods “I was a mess I had barely enough time to process his death, let alone lead a team such as UNIT. Of course when there is no choice but to do, you do find the strength. “

Hi! Sure! If you have any request I’d give it a go! For now, I’ll do a headcanon and leave the best to write for her 😅

And there are many who are great writers when it comes to the Kate Stewart fics, but I personally recommend @kinglivv and @iamnotoriginalphil ! I think they are really great! You should definitely check them out.

Warnings are the usual, and not my gif!

- If you do work at UNIT, you then later work alongside Donna when she joined

- If you’re a part of UNIT, you have been for a while

- You’d seen her fly up the ranks to become to now head of UNIT

- It was only natural that something more was going to happen between the two of you

- You have to respect that or it wouldn’t work

- Slowly backing you up against the wall in the hallway, leaning down and whispering things in your ear only to walk away and act like nothing happened

- She’s obviously taller than you

- She’s 5’8 without heels

- She’s very caring in the bedroom

- Always makes sure you’re comfortable with what’s happening

- She has clear boundaries and if you respect them and her job the way she respects you

- There’s no trouble at all

- You mean a lot to her, and to her children

- She’s not too keen on getting married again but Gordy has talked to her about it

Hope it’s not completely out of character!

- Kate is a hugger

- But only with people she knows

- Short hugs, but tight

- She’s a very caring person

- Comes with being a mother

- But frankly it comes from trying to keep the world together

- She has a VERY stressful job

- She handles it like a champ

- But she has doubts like everyone else

- Kate has severe trauma and PTSD

- There’s no denying that, and she was a single mother trying to make a life as well when Gordy was little

- Let’s not forget when she was literally thrown out of a plane

- She doesn’t talk about it

- Of course she has to talk to someone after a major incident to get cleared for duty but she doesn’t go to therapy

- She doesn’t talk about it to anyone

- It frightens you

- She deals with it alone

- Sometimes she opens up a little but it’s never the full story

- She feels like she needs to prove herself to people, and specifically her father

- Not that he wouldn’t be proud of her, and she knows that, but because she doesn’t want to let anyone down

- When she was younger, when she first meet the doctor, she was more loose and wasn’t as firm as she is now

- The higher she ranked, the more pressure got put on her shoulders

- Don’t get her wrong, Kate loves this job like a child, but she always worries about it not being enough

- To speak of something else

- Kate has zebra stripped heels

- She loves them

- You tend to tease her about them

- She doesn’t understand why, because they are nice as she says

- Kate isn’t really one for fashion, as seen when she wears coloured heels that does NOT match her outfit

- She looks amazing of course, but you sometimes do miss the old Kate

- She has a desk in the main room with everyone and an office

- One thing you should never do is insult her father

- If you hurt Kate, she has a very hard time forgiving people

- At home she always makes them

- At home Kate is as much softer version

- Specially after a few glasses of wine when she’s fully relaxed

- Likes to just sit by the fireplace with a record playing softly in the background

- She doesn’t get much time like this, so when she does it’s very precious to her

- Loves whenever her kids come over

- Even though they do annoy her like kids annoy their mother

- Seeing you get along so well with them really means a lot to her

- Not roses though. They aren’t her favourite

- She does not like it if you over compliment her

- She knows she’s a good looking woman, and if you compliment her once or twice she doesn’t mind, but if you go overboard with it she gets uncomfortable

- Very great with aftercare

- Always makes sure you’re alright, and gets you a glass of water

- She might even cuddle after sex

- She’s a great kisser

- Isn’t one for rough, tongue down your throat kisses

- She doesn’t say ‘I love you’ a lot but she says it in her kisses, her actions

- If she’s making tea, she makes you a cup

- If she’s passing you, she always gives your shoulder a squeeze

- I feel like she’s a fan of national geographic documentaries

- But it sometimes can come in handy

- It can start with little things and build up

- Doesn’t matter how bad it gets, Kate doesn’t let you leave the room until you’ve both cleared it up

- She sometimes throws the mum card on you

- But understand this, Kate cares very deeply for you, and the reason to why she won’t let you leave in the middle of a fight is because she wants to get to the bottom of why you are suddenly fighting and make up as quickly as possible

- She gives you space if you need it, and is very respectful

- But you are someone who makes her feel safe, and she needs you

- She doesn’t say it out loud, but you are someone who makes her calm by just being in the same room

- An encounter with the doctor sometimes leaves her one big question mark

- Sometimes she’s so done with her job she just wants one day

- One normal day

- When Donna joins the UNIT team and works alongside you, you tend to gossip

- She scolds you like a school teacher sometimes

- Threatens to separate the two of you

- Seeing Kate die from the dust of death was horrible

- It takes you a while to figure out how to get passed it

- Sure, everyone died

- But Kate died

- As the most understandable person in the universe, Kate does everything she can to reassure you she’s very much alive

Sadly they are walking around the next day not knowing of the sacrifices that were made so they get to live their lives and there’s nothing more important than that: people living their lives, getting married, having kids and so on. It’s something I sometimes forget to do myself .
