The fact the Shimmer ended up being a separate thing was a bit disappointing imo.

Not enough to ruin the show.. but I personally would've preferred MePhone leaving with the Shimmers and learning what having a loving family is like.

Adam is not a god. He's a REGULAR GUY who made a show on YouTube.

Brian is not a god. He's a REGULAR GUY who works and directs aforementioned show along with Adam.

It's completely fine to be thankful for them making the show, I am too! But you should not treat them like they are your close friends, or some sort of deity, or even fictional characters you can ship together (YES. PEOPLE DO THAT.)

hey it's the same anon from the "do not idolize ae" ask and I wanted to add that

if you act like the people who made your shows are infallible gods, you might end up VERY disappointed if any of them make some sort of mistake, huge or small, like I've seen happen with the blue person.

So again, do not idolize normal people. They're not your friends, they're not gods. They're NORMAL GUYS who work on a cartoon on YouTube.

Be normal about them.

I REALLY. REALLLY. REEEEALLY. HAT E A LOT OF THE SHIPS. Normally I am SOOO normal about shipping, fuuuck dude I'm a huge multishipper in non-osc fandoms, but SHIPPING IN OSC JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO MEEEEEEE,,,,, they're going through hell, there's no reason to ship two characters who like, have no interactions,,, if it were a game, I'd fuck with it, but it's a SHOWWWWW,,,, and I HATEEEE seeing that characters are being overlooked becasue of ships, i see it mentioned so often that it DRIVES ME INSANE. not hate just a neg observation but paintbrush is horribly mischaracterized by the fandom and i think jazzy unfortunately has a lot to do w that. it’s fun when a va supports a ship but she talks abt lightbrush so often & ignores paintbrush themselves that fans default to viewing pb as a character through the lens of shipping. ofc i may be wrong i don’t watch her streams but if the general impression i get from her is that a ship is the most appealing aspect of her character then that’s how others are going to view them
