@4chairchicks started because we were tired of hearing the negative rhetoric about ultra coily hair. We were tired of rarely if ever seeing type 4 hair models featured in magazines, on TV and across media in general. Instead of waiting to be included, we set out on a mission to highlight underrepresented beauty. We created this editorial as a visual celebration of self-love intended to honor and encourage black women.

Why everyone should be watching ‘My Strange Hero’:

Possibly the best first episode I’ve ever seen. It was hilarious and so GOOD.

There’s an amazing balance between the funny and the serious. One moment, it’s intense and you’re glued to your screen, the other moment you’re just laughing your ass off.

The storyline overall is interesting! There’s the bittersweet flashback-story, and the revenge story at the school in real-time -> it doesn’t become boring, instead the show gets better and better.

The acting is really good! The actors can switch between serious and comedy-like in a split second, which is impressive.

If you’re one to watch for the eye candy, there’s that too! Yoo Seung Ho, Jo Bo Ah, Kwak Dong Yeon… Beautiful people everywhere

Great soundtrack choice! From ‘Beat It’ to epic revenge background music, this drama has it all.
