I really like what you've come up with for your Amity! I actually like it more than the original video. Well, your original video and story at the time were still really good, but some parts felt a little complicated and kind of scattered. But everything in your new reboot seems a lot more cohesive and easier to follow. It all seems great, and I'm excited to see where it goes!

So I just read your new community post, and I might be overthinking this, but I figured I'd just ask, does this mean Amity is canceled?

OH NO NO NO!!! Sorry about the confusion!!! I’ve been working on Amity the last few months and ALOT of things had to be changed, cut, and fixed to really get to my vision,, I’m working on a full correction video as we speak. But in regards to my community post, Mei and Emmet’s original stories were very hinged on MLB and I noticed once I took them out of that story and tried to shove them into Amity’s main story I realized I wanted to go into a bit of a different direction but these characters and what I wanted them for, wouldn’t fit that direction.

But I also love them a lot and don’t want to completely get rid of them. And since I’ve been reevaluating how I actually feel about miraculous and that series as a whole during my hiatus I decided a good balance of fandom and original work was needed and realized I needed to learn to compromise ❤️

So TLDR: im in the process of trying to fix decisions I made out of imposter syndrome and insecurity rather than my own creative interest

Where are Skylar, Mei, and Emmett's soul windows located, since we know Noemi's is on her chest?

So out of curiosity since Spectrum originally started off as a re-imagining of Rainbow High, and since you have videos planned for redesigning the mane 7 into Amity and what if the winx were in Amity, have you considered re-imagining or making ocs based on the main girls from Rainbow High?

It’s definitely on my list!

How many members were on the original Amity team? Also, will we learn about the past members of Amity and what happened to them?

A big inspiration for Amity was actually Overwatch so I imagine there were many different members in different areas but there was an overall core team of 7! We will learn about all of them as the story goes on!

Out of curiosity, would Spectrum be more cyberpunk or solarpunk?

All of the above, it kinda depends on where you are

I’ve honestly thought Noemi would be more like Wamawink and Skylar would be Horse but like STORY WISE, they’re the vice versa and I love the thought of Skylar hanging out with Wamawink, it’s so funny

So what are some of your ideas for what Noemi, Skylar, Mei, and Emmett's dimensions in their soul windows look like?

I haven’t thought too deep into it just yet but I want to make a full video on the topic but some base ideas I had was

Noemi’s looks like a really surreal dreamscape, like it’s pretty but there’s something off about it, it’s really clouded and distorted and full of broken mirrors

Skylar’s almost looks like a dark graveyard in a dark enchanted forest

Emmets looks like the inside of a computer world

And mei’s looks like a field of flowers or a garden house

So, are all the magics in Amity connected to some kind of art type or branch in the art field, like how Mei's powers are connected to fashion and Emmett's are connected to digital media?

Not necessarily, they can team up that way, but amity’s magic system works kinda like the cutie mark system in MLP where it revolves around that persons special skill and talents, it just so happens that the main characters I presented so far are creative themed cuz the characters they were redesigned from were creatives in some way ✨

Since Whispers to Ashes and StarShatter are being added to the Spectrum universe, does that mean you'll be redoing their magic systems to either match or be closer to the one in Amity?

A little but not much change is actually needed, but that’s mostly because their magic systems were already really similar 😭 noticing the similarities is what made me want to make the change in the first place ✨

How do you spell Skylar's other name?? Is it like Lawliz or Lawl3zz or Loless or another spelling? You mentioned that their name being spelled differently in the Amity introduction video, but you never specified how.

It’s LW.LS, and because their name is like that, Emmet follows the formula with FRST.BT

So, out of curiosity, can we know more about the new ocs you added to Amity and what you originally had planned for them before you added them to Amity. We already know what you had planned for Moorgan, Kiana, Rue, and Sydney, but what about the other four? I think I remember you say three of those characters were like fandom ocs, but I'm not familiar with them.

So what I was initially planning to do was try to force them all into one world and have their stories play out simultaneously. But I ran into a lot of big issues with going that route, because trying to combine all their preexisting world building and stories was almost impossible, so what I did instead was make a part of the magic system where the universe is essentially split into 3 paralleling dimensions:

one with the story Whispers to Ashes, which is where Moorgan, Psyche (and just to clarify, Kiana’s actual name is Psyche, I’m so so sorry I didn’t realize I posted the not updated ref sheet when I made that initial post) Rue and Sydney reside.

Then there’s Amity

, then there’s StarShatter, which is where the more alien characters are

The universe now carries the name spectrum because each story is different parts of a spectrum of genre I like! ✨ The only anomaly currently is Nani, mostly because I dunno if I want them to be in Amity, or whispers to ashes

This idea really inspired me and I truly love this. It inspired me so much that I actually created a series of my own called Genesis, also this is one of the greatest series created by an artist that I have ever seen
