       working at the coffee show wasn’t exactly new digs for him , he’d hung out at the little place before he’d even gotten hired ( sometimes he liked to believe that was the reason that he got hired , & NOT because of the last kid never showing back up to work again ) & even now that he spent a little over 25 hours a week getting PAID to be there , he often found himself hanging out in the cafe after hours . it was just easier to do homework there rather than go home & hear the constant bustle of his family moving around the house . no , this was definetly easier . textbook & notebook open in front of him , he tried to be mindful of how much space he was taking at the counter , or as mindful as he could be with a textbook that was the size of his head . as he went to turn the page , he managed to not only drop his highlighter , but his coffee threatened to spill over .

     his attention went to the coffee , saving it from spilling over the counter , only to have his arm knock over the notebook to the floor . hazel eyes closed , of course , he couldn’t go a few minutes without  something going wrong . he turned to the patrons closer to him , muttering an apology before getting off the chair to gather his belongings , “ i’m sorry , i’m just - a little distracted i guess . ” he said , shaking his head . being DISTRACTED wasn’t the problem , but it did make a good excuse .

hey all ! this is a starter / plotting call for jt ! i’ll be doing them tomorrow more than likely but i’m p terrible w open starters so this is . . . better ! lmk what muse or i’ll just message you probably ?

         okay a quick lil intro for my first muse while i finish writing up a proper bio page & stat page ! some wc are listed below too & i’d love to plot w u all !

i.        justin torrid !

        basics ; twenty year old college student born in hartford & his family moved to sheffield when he was ten ! runs into bad luck fairly often which became a running joke in his family & overly clumsy ! sort of smart but constantly had to retake test because of fckin up on scantrons

      childhood ; justin has two siblings who he’s pretty close too , he’s especially close with his older brother & misses him a whole bunch since he dorms at a out of state college & probably texts w him everyday ! ( p.s someone wants to pick up either of his siblings ? lmk ! ) it took a while for his growth spurt to kick in so for a little while , before he went to sheffield , he was bullied in school which made him learn how to sink into the background ( or at least attempt to before he trips on thin air ) 

       teenage ; had a few close friends starting freshman year since during middle school & was a nervous wreck when it came to just about everyone else ! became easily pushed around which wasn’t exactly the best ! he even got tricked into doing some papers & almost got expelled . 

+ : compassionate ; self sacrificing ; book smart ; talkative ; open minded

- : accident prone ; anxious ; oblivious ; worrier ; shy ; easily manipulated

         WANTED

+ close friends ( 2 ) a pair that’s been with him since high school , doesn’t have to be the same age since jt is pretty good at keeping up w the people he cares about !

+ bad influence ( 1 ) someone who takes advantage of his weak will & had him do things for them , could be little things like cleaning their room while their hanging out or something more ! 

+ an ex ( 1 ) i imagine he’d had at least one sig other , but it takes a while for him to build up enough nerve to ask someone out so it could be a past skinny love situation maybe ? we can discuss why it ended !
