How serious are we, alternatively, about landlocked landgrubber Stanford losing his brother to the sea?

Because Stanford Pines goes to sea on the 30 year anniversary of losing his brother to the waves. A mishap that sent Stanley Pines looking for treasure on his own. Childhood dreams of sailing away on that useless, termite ridden monstrosity on the beach they named the Stan'o'war.

They inspired the name from a book at the school library. It had a picture of a 19th century frigate: A 'Man'o'war', the book had called it.

"Hah! Like the jellyfish!" Stan had erupted and Ford had laughed. Yes. Like the jellyfish.

They had both ignored the shushing. Giggling quietly behind the pages.

'Stan'o'war' came later. Later, when they had forgotten the book, Stan had proclaimed the name proudly, hands and chest splattered with paint. The sun had been high in the sky that day. The memory burns at the edges.

Stan was never found among the capsized wreckage and no search team was ever properly established.

It never sat quite right with him. Stan weren't meant to just stop existing with such little fuss. Stanford knows his brother, and his brother did nothing quietly.

A high gale is blowing west the anniversary of Stan's disappearance. Stanford stands in it, eyeing the foamy waves with bloodshot eyes and a waning sanity. Under the guise of concluding a mystery, Stanford Pines stows himself into a small boat and hides himself away from society. He can't fight the looming presence of Bill any longer. The best he can do is run away, where nobody... And nothing... Can reach him.

Its about Ford getting on a boat and reaching out, clinging desperately to the last thing he remembers making Stanley happy.

Its about both brothers returning to the sea because of the other. Because the sea spray and the cold water are both a comfort and a reminder of what they lost.

Warped mirrors and watery reflections on the still sea that only show the face of one half of a pair. Half of a brother, half of a man. No matter what they do, they cannot get away from the sea, and they cannot get away from the memory of the other.

Recently, I have been getting some support from the wonderful Tumblr community, as such I decided it is best if I start up my own blog here to post about my restarting of my life in Canada after completing my 40 months prison sentence for my role in the Team-Xecuter and Nintendo Switch mods, etc.

It has been a struggle for my first two years of freedom, the first year was the worse, homeless, jobless and with my lymphedema in my left leg not easy at all.

The second year has been better, now with a roof over my head and the ability to earn a bit of money on the side legally alongside my medical disability.

I have now been able to recover my original love and passion for the Texas Instruments Home Computers, and I am slowly working towards releasing some new software and hardware products for the retro computer hobbyists.

But it's still been a struggle on the medical side to get the Ontario government to help with my lymphedema and cover expenses, as such any support I get towards my GoFundMe is greatly appreciated and allows me to continue to do physiotherapy and get treatment and devices I need at home to enable me to have a full productive day.

This is killing me but it’s pride month and Juneteenth is on the horizon so if you are in a position to share: I’m a Black Bisexual woman, fired from full time work in January, and currently working part time for less than $200 a week. I’ve been trying to find full time work for months to no avail. I don’t qualify for most local resources in my rural community other than help with food and housing, which I already have and am still having a hard time getting by with. Now that I’m working, even only part time, the assistance has been reduced in that my rent has gone up and the food help has gone down.

It took me over a year to escape living with abusive family members and I fear the consequences of asking them for help. They don’t know where I live and would absolutely demand that knowledge if I ask again. I’m always having issues with my car (I live in the sticks and have to drive a lot) and I’m currently at a loss as to how I’m gonna pay upcoming bills like rent/car insurance/utility right now. I don’t have a goal, as I’m just generally strapped for cash, so Anything Helps! I’m moominhands on cshapp and vnmo and here is pypal
