As the years passed by, there were many changes that happened. We are getting more advance, we are now too far from the past. In this modern days media is very common on us. Most of us used it as a medium to share information to other people, but before we use media and share information we must be literate about them. But what is media and information literacy? What can you do to your community and to your country being of it?
Being a media and information literate individual you have the ability to manipulate and utilize effectively different kinds of technological application. As a student and being a media and information literate individual I can help my community and my country to be progressive. In a way of using media and sharing information to other people in a right way. For example, in using media we people can send our suggestions and opinions to our President on how to improve and to end a problem in our country.
As a student and being an educated person I know how to use and share information in a right way. So I can help our leader in our community on reducing the crimes here in our society in a way of motivating and inspiring criminals to do good things instead of bad one. I can also help reducing waste pollution in our community by making posters about waste management. Being media and information literate person you can also educate other people and make them like you.
Media and information literacy is very important to us. It helps you to be able to use, understand,create, communicate and think critically. Being a media and information literate individual you can help your community and to your country in many ways. You can make you community and country to be a better one.
