I've been struggling a lot lately and I want everyone else struggling to know that you will always have a space to talk and, crucially, your f/o would be able to make such a space for you. They would want to see you happy because their joy is your joy, and they love you very dearly.

Your f/o wouldn't judge you if you have communication problems. Maybe you stutter, you talk a certain way, you've got an accent or you can't explain or form things in a way you'd like to, it could be anything. That's okay! They'll be patient, they'll listen with so much respect and understanding. They won't degrade you, interrupt, make you feel lesser, nothing of that sort!

videogames with f/o … especially if they absolutely suck at it , and you get to laugh at them for losing again after demanding a sixth rematch — or you’re sitting beside them as they play , muttering over every little thing they’re doing wrong , taking the controller out of their hands to do it yourself ….

or maybe they’re weirdly ( or not-so-weirdly ! ) good at it and demolish you in every game you play — even if it’s something like stardew valley and they’re speedrunning perfection — snickering and looking over at you to watch how angry you get after losing again and again and again , maybe even completely tryharding just to see you get upset …… just sitting together with them after a long day , getting to relax and worry about mundane things rather than the outside world ♡♡♡

Your f/o love you on your good and your bad days! It's okay if you struggle to get tasks done, if taking care of your body/looks feels like a cruel chore or if everything feels like too much. They'll always be there for you, nothing will ever diminish their love for you!

Your f/o adore you and all your accomplishments! Even if you don't give yourself enough credit for what you accomplish, if you think something's "too small" or "not important", your f/o will always celebrate your victories and your progress!

Your f/o want to help you flourish! They'll shield you from ableism and anything that could hurt you. They know it's hard but they want you to learn that you deserve to love yourself as much as they love you!

Your f/o understand if you're tired! Small things can be hard when things are rough. They understand that keeping up with hygiene can be tricky, that sometimes you feel like shutting everything off and forgetting about your existence for a while.
