The only good thing about long COVID is that it made the medical community admit myalgic encephalomyelitis is likely caused my viral exposure. We were like “Hey, I had a virus and just never got better.” and doctors were like “That’s silly. And stupid. Chronic fatigue syndrome is just a random vague constellation of symptoms. Or just depression. It’s all in your head.” and now doctors are experiencing it.

LOOOOOLLLLLLL#i wake up every day suprised that i am still here ngl 😍

Love being a Death Note fan in 2024. We're trapped here. We can't leave. I cosplay Matt a few times per year, during convention season. Someone at Anime Boston thought I was Hawks from MHA. I told her I was Matt from Death Note. I don't think she recognized the name or the character. There still isn't an official US production of Death Note: The Musical. People are still making "Imagay" jokes and acting like it's peak original humor. We're trapped here. We're banging on the walls of our cage, demanding enrichment in our enclosure.

things people have done to help me during a psychoses episode
i was on the buss and i hallucinated bugs crawling all over my hands, so my friend pulled my hoodie sleeves over them with permission and held my hands through the sleeves to "keep them off". they used the logic you would in a real bug situation.
i went nonverbal in a bad one in class, so my friend wrote me a note to give to the nurse since the teacher wouldn't let her go with me.
i often am very paranoid about the delusion that meat is actually rotten, so my dad will sometimes eat a bit of it before me
instead of telling me my delusions arent real, they help me through it using logic like it was real. they dont tell me that nothings going to hurt me in my sleep, they stay with me to keep me safe. then when it passes i can realize its not real
#i follow this schizophrenic lady on tiktok and she helped this random man thru#an altercation he was having publicly w a hallucination#by just taking his side and yelling at the hallucination with him for a sec#the dude was upset bc the hallucination took his coffee#so she was like screw you! and i’m getting him a new coffee! and they left together#🥰 i am so glad she was passing by#bugs cw
