SPOILER FOR ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE

My thoughts on Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse:

- THE LAST SCENE made a post abt it

- The artstyle and coloring is still my all time favorite

- The cliffhanger made me SCREAM (there's no date for the next movie and the time between the first and the second movie were 5 years...)

- Spiderpunk/Hobie Brown... Uh, he basically just threw around political terminology (Capitalism, Anarchy, Fascism) like buzzwords which just really dissapointed me. I'm probably going to make a post about it when I can get my hands on each sentence. Just a lot of wasted potential in my opinion

(Edit: did anyone else think this? Like when i watched the movie and he began saying that the black hole is a metaphor for capitalism i thought it was getting kinda goofy. I gotta rewatch it to be sure ugh)

-They probably changed Hobie Browns appearance because it's too similar to Miles in the second movie (Yes, I know he looks different from comic to comic, still)

- Where was Spiderman-Noir ???

- The amount of plot twists were amazing, there's a lot of hurt in the movie but Miles still decides to do his own thing which is amazing

- The whole "I don't know if my parents will still love me after I revealed myself" smelled rlly trans

Again, I will probably update it as soon as I can put the movie on hold and rewatch it

SPOILERS FOR "Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse"!!!

Differentiating Miles and Miles-42(?/Prowler)

I just got back from watching the movie and I noticed an interesting detail in the last scene.

During it Miles-42 gets revealed as the Prowler and it also became apparent his Dad died and that his uncle filled his role. You can even see it in his behavior, as he approaches Miles he's using a deeper voice and using the hand over shoulder "trick" his uncle probably taught him because the uncle in Miles world taught him exactly THAT in the last movie.

It's just a really cool detail??? And i love how it shows that people act differently by the way they were raised and I can't wait to find out more about World 42.
