Firestar's nine lives.

Just thinking about how in the Darkest Hour as they were fighting Bloodclan, Firestar lost his first life and when he woke up he saw Cloudtail fighting Scourge.

Im just wondering about Cloudtail, locked in battle with a Bloodclan cat, Brightheart by his side, as he suddenly hears a trumphant yowl and looks as Firestar falls to Scourges claws.

Thinking about how all he thought at the moment was how Firestar, his mentor, his only kin in Thunderclan, his biggest supporter and oldest friend was dead. He doesnt believe in Starclan, so he obviously thought that Firestar was gone for good. And maybe, just maybe he had seen Whitestorm's limp body on the ground just moments earlier. But that wouldnt have been the thought that went through his mind at the moment.

No, the first thing that shot through his mind was very provably revenge.

So, he launches himself at Scourge. He doesnt care about all the gory things that his clanmates whispered about Tigerstars death back at camp, he just wants to kill the cat that murdered his leader and mentor.

Tbh I cannot believe that the cat they all accused to be nothing but a soft kittypet would do this. He literally LAUNCHES HIMSELF AT THE CAT WHO HAS KILLED FIRESTAR, not caring about the fact that Firestar (and Tigerstar and Onewhisker who lost to Scourge earlier) was a better and experienced fighter than him and still died to Scourge (well, almost died). I truly believe that had Firestar not woken up in time, either Scourge or Cloudtail wouldve been dead.
