I’ve seen a lot of posts about Kates ring and if Anthony gave her the same ring he gave to Edwina or a different one and I wanted to include my head cannon.

Anthony commissioned a new ring made with a Bridgerton diamond, and after they married two small emeralds were taken from Kate’s mothers bangles and placed either side of the diamond.

As a gift to his mother, he made her original ring that he gave to Edwina into a necklace for her.

Because 1. That ring is now tainted for Kate and Anthony and I cannot accept it

2. I love the idea of using the emeralds from the bangles but also you probs don’t want to take them out until after the bangles have been worn

3. I can only imagine the reason Violet didn’t still wear her ring is because it got too small for her so I think her wearing it as a necklace is really sweat and sort of untaints it
