This is a skirt I finished weeks ago. I've been working on this piece for a few months. It first started as a tube top. I love how it ended up.

I spent most of the day figuring out an issue with my serger (maybe figuring it out, I won't really know until I use it for more than test sewing, and it's also possible it had this problem for 30 years) (and thanks to Thorn for figuring out the culprit part's name) but there was very little lint in my serger, so consider this a reminder to all to clean the lint out of your sewing machines (I de-lint way more than I oil)

My latest doll…

My daughter is a high jumper, but I’ve never seen a high jump doll before, so I made her one. But she can’t wear a track and field uniform all the time, right?

I also decided to make her a second outfit. I’ve been teaching myself to embroider to combine the two hobbies. This is getting addictive!
