another wish

when im like this, I just want you. I want to get away with you. it's late at night. You'd pick me up in your car. It's dirty and you apologize and I say it's okay. you'll start driving somewhere that will be just for us. I'll cry in the passenger seat and you'll pull over and you'll sit there. And thats all I'll need. I'll look up, through the wells and I see your face lit up from the check engine light. I want to be alone but with you. my hoodie is dirty and smells like outside. I open the window. Im afraid of the dark and looking out and seeing the fields at night would scare me, every sound would be a creature and the shapes would become monsters. but when im with you all I can hear are the crickets and the wind and all I see in the fields are the fire flies flickering. my tears dry and ill tell him whats wrong. He'll tell me it's okay. Then he'll take me to McDonalds and we'll go inside to order. I'll steal a decoration of a Big Mac off the wall and order something to go. We find a place to park and watch videos on YouTube and eat. He'll show me something funny, he knows what makes me laugh.
