Stancy Week - Day Three - Badass Couple

Nancy has an impatience and prickliness towards Robin in the beginning because of her jealousy, the new deaths in town, and her old traumas about losing Barb resurfacing, and Robin responded by letting her know that her jealousy was misguided, going along with Nancy's ideas and plans, continuing to make conversation despite aforementioned prickliness, calling Nancy her friend, and nudging Nancy towards her best friend in the whole world on more than one occasion.
Nancy wasn't even on her best and sparkliest behavior and even so, Robin was committed as a ride or die for her after one hour. Robin really thought "She's a genius and totally badass. I need her to be in my life forever, and I definitely think she's worthy of my best friend who has been nursing heartache and yearning for her since before the dawn of our own best friendship."

I hope we get to see Nancy and Steve fighting back to back. Nancy with her gun and Steve with his bat. We need a badass action sequence with them protecting each other.

Steve Harrington wouldn't have gone to dinner with Nancy at Barb's parents for months. Yes, it was months! If he didn't understand that Nancy was upset by Barb's death or didn't sympathize with her, he wouldn't have gone. He understood, and by going with her, that's how he was there for her. His fear about going after the lab was breaking the NDA for everyone involved, which is fair, considering they murdered Benny and how quickly they faked Will's death. He was scared, but that doesn't mean he was heartless about Barb's death. He just didn't know how to handle it, and Nancy didn't either. She thought that going after the lab was the best way to try and deal with it, but it wasn't. Nancy and Steve were both scared, distraught kids who did their best to handle their trauma. I hate when people say Steve wasn't there for Nancy because he was. He wasn't a shitty boyfriend.
