“we’ve divided the population as you requested, mr. president,” announced the assistant from the door, “so we’re just waiting on your final approval for the memory wipe.”

“wipe the memory of groups 1 to 8,” replied the president, “leave group 9 alone but wipe group 10, too.”

“sir? you want us to wipe groups 1 through 8 and then 10, but not 9? group 9 refers to… children born between 1990 and 1999, why should they be left with their memories?”

the president stood from his chair and looked out at the world from his window.

okay so eighth year hogwarts harry feels super guilty over how he’s always dismissed the slytherins over the past few years and so after potions he pulls malfoy aside and is like “listen malfoy i’d really like to say sorry i don’t think you’re a bad person you never wanted to do anything that you did last year i think you got put in with the wrong sort and i just want to start over?” and he puts out his hand hoping malfoy will take it and malfoy tilts his head to the side and says “i think i can tell the wrong sort for myself, thanks” and looks up right at harry and they just stare at each other for a few seconds and then burst out laughing

An Iceberg Flipped Over, and Its Underside Is Breathtaking ”In the case of this jewel-like iceberg, the ice is probably very old. In glaciers, years of compression force out air pockets and gradually make the ice denser, according to the National Snow and Ice Data Center. “When glacier ice becomes extremely dense, the ice absorbs a small amount of red light, leaving a bluish tint in the reflected light, which is what we see.” In addition, minerals and organic matter may have seeped into the underwater part of the iceberg over time, creating its vivid green-blue color.”
