Psitca, my dnd character, just discovered his phoenix ability through a rather traumatic death. To celebrate the occasion, I've designed him a first draft of his phoenix form!

This is Gulp. Gulp is a sandworm (adapted from a satarre). Gulp has ascended out of the warren of tunnels to see the sky, grow plants and feel the breeze. Gulp fears the prophecised doomsday when the great furnace will turn the desert sand into glass, and so collects sand in pouches.

Gulp's race subsist off of small bugs that live in the sand they burrow through. To outsiders, it looks like they eat sand.

Gulp is an adolescent just reaching maturity, hence the gangly limbs and gradual pigmentation change

I am *very* happy with the moth in this. Her name's Sibylla (yes she's a male oak eggar, yes that's very deliberate foreshadowing for Sét finding out she's trans, yes, at some point Sét decides his soul is a moth-)

'The echoing, resonant music of the forest rings constantly in your head' A piece I did a few weeks ago when my dnd character (the little bird) assimilated a dragon made of leaves and took over its mind, inviting himself into the forest's song in doing so.

Aris Mephistophalus, my halloween oneshot character! They're an evocation track wizarding student with a knack for creating mischief and a taste for fire magic that they're very much still learning to control. The premise for them was 'they're that wizard who self-casts fireball, but they do it accidentally'. I love them dearly lol

The Hanged Man and The Moon, with their themes of (needless) sacrifice and misinterpretation and illusion, thematically mirror the two Ashen Ones and their trip to Irithyll of the Boreal Valley perfectly. Leshy - The Hanged Man - is mine, and Lia - The Moon - is @warriordragonart 's! This is the first duo of a hypothetical tarot deck I'm hoping to make of a lot of our fromsoft OCs!

(It took me so long to finish Lia's card, so if the style looks different, blame that lol.)

The Wolf, The Spider and The Songbird

My 3 part set of animal coded characters is done! The Wolf - Leshy, a loyal, canine coded Abyss Watcher. He's a ferociously protective pack animal with keen hunting instincts, who will quite literally die for his closest friends. He's loyal to a fault and will return to someone even after they've hurt him before. Treat him well and he'll be the best companion you could ask for

The Spider - Katalia, Daughter of Manus. Elegant and venomous, she weaves a web of manipulations and lies to ensnare her would-be King. As with many spiders, her true nature is hated by many, and she finds herself both a predator and vulnerable prey. Easily ensnared by her own web, she quickly finds herself trapped at the hands of the man she tried to control. A nasty bite, but keep her under an overturned glass, and safely enjoy your beautiful exotic pet from afar.

The Songbird - Soot, the abandoned Omen child. Fragile, easily hurt and yet still optimistic, he views the world with the hope of a bird singing from an ornate cage. Flighty and afraid, he still forms close connections and brightens the lives of all who get close to him. But insanity, illness and injury lurk ever near, and it doesn't take much to break hollow bones.

Another tragic animation of these two? What a surprise!

This one centers on Soot's experience as an affirming and wonderful adventure with his friend quickly becomes dark. Soleria's desparate pursuit of the frenzied flame ensnares them both, and Soot feels out of his depth and trapped in a war against outer gods that he doesn't understand.

It took me a while, but I've finished an artwork for once! This one was an experiment in reflections and limited backgrounds

What?? Two animations in one month??

This animation follows my and @warriordragonart 's Elden Ring characters as they go from Golden Order fundementalist and the adoring omen she rescues, to disillusioned Frenzied Flame envoy and her bloodflame wielding shadow.

The file is FAR too big to embed, so here's a link! After almost 7 months, the Dark Souls 3 animation is finally done!

It follows the princes Lothric and Lorian as they learn what linking the fire truly entails and choose to reject it, begging their firekeeper to let the fire die, and unintentionally resurecting the Ashen One and setting the events of the game in motion.

It's the longest animation I've attempted to date, and I'm proud of it! I hope you enjoy!

Happy New Year! Here's hoping 2024 goes better than 2023 :) (No idea how tumblr's going to handle the gif I just tried to upload, it's been forcing me to resize it smaller and smaller and now it looks bizzare in the preview.. Soz if it's yellow in the final post!)

Also, it's Alex sitting on the rooftop watching the fireworks. He's not a fan of the noise, but at this point in his story, he's learning to enjoy life, and sometimes watching non-hostile explosions is the way to go.
