meanwhile eito, under the 1 million layers of hatred agony pain fear and inability to understand his own feelings and denial, hopes that someone who spared him despite knowing his entire deal could come to understand him--its so painfully revealing in several routes that what he desires most is actually connection

eito needling everyone, but particularly takumi, all the time does two things -- he no longer has to mask and pretend to be someone he isnt (something that is, in a way, a relief, even if he still antagonizes and is antagonized by the world), and also, asserts himself as his own person, separate from r0 eito...
