You all got your popcorn, smuggled in candy, drinks, you’re ready to enjoy the movie. The movie begins and this dude- THIS DUDE decides this is the perfect time to have a break up. Over the phone. By text. People are telling you to get his attention and to turn off his phone, or to step outside, but he stays. You tell him he’s ruining the experience, but he’s adamant that he needs to break some person’s heart in the middle of a dark room with tons of people getting annoyed. Eventually theater staff come in to escort him out, but he acts offended, and looks towards you and the rest of the group to back him up, but you’re silent. He leaves and as soon as you turn on your phone you see a text he sent an hour ago that just says “Thanks asshole.”
