ok, so , I’ve seen a lot of conduit! Reggie ideas floating around, but I haven’t seen any for Brent (fetch’s brother) as a conduit , u got any ideas/headcanons for that? If not , just gimmie any old headcanons u can think up, I’m very bored rn.

{ Conduit Reggie! That is a fun one!) { I feel like an interesting "easy" pick would be him having a similar Copy-Paste power to Delsin. I do not remember if these powers can be genetic like that, but still, that would be my go to answer I think) { As for a power specifically reggie based, Reggie gives me big earth vibes, idk. Probably because he's the most grounded (haha) character of the main crew, and there's something interesting to Reggie as a Earth or Rock Conduit in comparison to Augustine and her Concrete powers) { Either way, I think Reggie as a Conduit would be a very fun idea, considering how he reacts to Delsin becoming one.)

I'll bring up another power concept I had brewing in my head while I'm at it: a friend and I talked about a power that lets the Conduit with it summon and transform into animals. How could this "animal" Conduit work per se? We called it "Wild" because I thought it sounded nice

{ This very much might just be a my opinion thing, but I dont think that could be a power. Conduits seem to use forms of energy or materials in their powers (They are conduits for a specific thing, letting it flow through them) ) { While we have seen organic matter conduits (paper -> form of wood) and conduits that can replicate sentience (video -> making living replicas of the HH angels and demons), creating whole animals feels a little too out of reach )

{ Though I suppose something like a flesh conduit could maybe replicate bodies, though they'd have to find a place to gain said meat from. So it could work like the JJBA stand 『Flesh Starter』 in that way)

{ So, yeah, making meat humunculi, probably possible with a rather disturbing power, making animals, I am not too sure about thaqt one) { But don't let me ruin your fun on this one, if you want to make a theoretical animal conduit, have your fun with it)

I'm not sure if power suggestions are still open but I wonder what an interpretation of powers based off fibers would be like (like the fibers/materials in clothing, threads and all).

Power Name: Fiber is actually a really good one

Where it’s charged: I mean, if you're risky, clothes are everywhere. Otherwise, both fabrics as well as yarn and wool can be bought at any store.

How the shots look: I'd imagine fiber would kinda be the spider-man webshooters of conduit powers. Long string and possibly, if charged whole sheets that you could use to catch someone with.

How the sprint looks: This one's tricky. I almost wanna say its more of a pulling yourself foreward than a sprint, again, like webshooters

How does the float look: Tornado of string makes the most sense imo

Side Notes: Fiber is actually a really interesting concept in that regard, its a physical source, like concrete, paper etc but its so fragile and nimble. It would definitly have to be one you'd have to get creative with.

that is what bots look like! even if you have posts on your blog, it’s very hard to distinguish an actual user from a bot if your blog looks like one in the above photo.

i block bots and i really don’t wanna accidentally block an actual person, but if you follow me and you have a blog that looks like that, there’s a good chance that you’ll get blocked.

also another important note: don’t just change your description or header or blog colors. make sure you change the icon or blog title, cause when someone is looking at their follower list, this is all they see:

we just see the icon and title, so it’s best to change those that way no one has to go through your blog to try and figure out if your a bot or not.

Hello😊. How are you? I have another interesting/weird question. I got this idea when I was replaying Second Son. Since there are a few post about what conduits taste when they drain their power. What do Conduits taste when they drain a blast shard or a core relay?

I got this idea from one of Delsin's voice line when draining blast shards. I remember him saying something about it being tasty?

Core relays are intresting, since they seem to be pure energy in comparison to how different powers carry different properties.

I have two ideas regarding what core relays and blast shards could taste like:

They have their own distinct flavour, outside of avergage food flavours/flavours that your average human can taste. I like thinking that said flavour is very refreshing.

They taste different per person. Since they charge a conduits (or specifically delsins) power/enhance it, the consumption of the power from these cores/shards might get recognized as a flavour that the conduit already likes.

{ I'm not very familiar with the characters from the first two/three (couting festival of blood) games, so I personally don't have many hcs for either of them)

{ Though I do want to at least understand the characters from the past games more, so I might be able to write some hcs for them in the future, one I get to watching game play throughs or once I read up on them more )

{ This request gave me two very specific vibes. Both in very different directions)

{ 1. The way I see it, all conduit powers are related to emotions/emotions effect people's powers and their control of them.)

{ 2. A power based in absorbing other people's emotions and weaponizing them is: I. Terrifying. II. Something that sounds like the next evolution of conduit kind (going from things like ice to more abstract things like neon to the literal concepts of emotions themselves) and for as much as I see myself as a bit of a power knower I fear what this kind of power would do to a person)

{ Though I guess, I could compare an emotion conduit to Alex from the third life is strange.)

{ I think someone requested ice before, but I didn't do it since it is a canon power and while I could be consistent and not do it this time, I can try to second son-ify this power a little)

Power Name: It's called cryokinesis in 2, but thats lame so let's call it just Cryo

Where it’s charged: Places with ice and probably those tanks that have liquid nitrogen

How the shots look: Sharp and spikey icicles with some powder snow flowing off of it as they fly

How the sprint looks: lets make this one fun. While I dont like the concrete run, I like the idea of the user being covered by a sheet of ice as they freeze the floor under themselves to skate

How does the float look: Float in the sky with icicles around you!!!

Side Notes: I need to read more about the canon powers before second son, they're cool but also they seem to function slightly differently.

Do u hav anymore random conduit headcanons? The others were pretty good!

Every power has it's own flavor (since conduits taste their powers) and it is hard to compare them to actual food.

Light/plasma based powers (video, neon, black light, light etc) are rather common in newer conduit generations.

Notably, this does effect the power perception of those conduits, as they'll feel safer around all light sources.

If a conduit tries to absorb something that isn't their source, it can either just be a lack of reaction or ,if its of a similar consistency, actually hurt the conduit (for example: if eugene were to try and charge himself with neon)

Delsins powers are basically a genetic mutation, as it adapts itself to the powers its felt before.

Conduits sometimes have small hints towards their powers when fully charged. (for instance, light based conduits have a soft glow in the dark effect and fire based conduits are usually warmer than average)

Theoretically an energy conduit that just straight up sucks out energy from things could exist and its scary to think about, really

Power Name: mmmmm sand

Where it’s charged: Sand. Probably rocks if you break them enough. Just go into one of those big build stuff stores and touch the sand bags.

How the shots look: p,,,, pocket sand,,,, A stream of concentrated sand. Ouch

How the sprint looks: A whole swoosh of sand. Probably could pass through bars like smoke.

How does the float look: Miniature dust devil!!!!!

Side Notes: Sand would be very intresting, when you think about it. it's not a liquid or a gas, but it behaved fluidly, so it cant be conc light.

Some Updates:

{ The Angel and Eugene fic is in the works, however I do have both a whole art project I’m doing and also school work that I need to take care off, so it’s going to take a while to get finished.) { I am also planning on doing more conduit specific headcanons, some including images to better get my point across.) { One of those I’m looking forward to doing is an in-depth headcanon dive through light based conduits and how they differ from eachother (Which will probably feature an oc to stand in for pure light) ) { If y’all have any requests, you can still go ahead and ask, whether is be more powers or character related things)
