I play the tuba and the sousaphone so I like to imagine whenever I'm playing during a parade or band competition my f/o is in the background cheering for me ♡

My main f/o is from the 80s, a decade I've always felt drawn to and that now, mostly bc of him, I love even more! So not only was I able to build an accurate self insert, I now dress up like her too! Psst…. I hear you like musicals…. Have you heard of Bandstand and Starkid Productions? Starkid is a series of musicals, and bandstand is about a group of soldiers in 1945 making a band together!!! All of them have F/O material. Really, REALLY, good material.

My F/O is from the Prohibition Era (1920s) and while I normally don't care for history I just feel so attached to that time period ever since I've been into his source material and now I know so much about this era because of my hyperfixation (mostly the fashion since I've researched that for sona building purposes, but I also love the music; a lot of jazzy electro swing reminds me of him). And like... I used to feel like it was an inconvenience that he was from such an old time period because I can't relate to it, but now I wouldn't have it any other way. It adds to his charm, I reckon. How he calls ladies "miss" and has his silly little hat and two piece suit... how he wears shirts and vests and suspenders casually... how he has a tie one can grab him by to kiss... vintage men's fashion can lowkey be really attractive ngl
