one tiny thing is causing such a hangup for me about past life and it isnt even a critique. its amazing. its tantilising. its STUPID.

why isnt the watcher symbol at spawn unbreakable? it was evo. it had spawn protection. now its breakable--if obsidian. ive watched so many perspectives it feels like a tease.

ostensibly--i know the answer: its so it can be broken. defaced, even

my actual questions are: why does grian want the watcher symbol to be breakable at spawn--the one place that always, always gets destroyed, trashed, gone to smithereens? and... will anything happen when that inevitably does so? surely, (pleadingly, on the ground, weeping, throwing up, etc) will it be Lore Related?

it feels like such an obvious chekhov's gun (<- brainworms).
