was riding home from work on 59th street when i heard a girl yell  “hey!” behind me. thought i accidentally cut someone off in the street. turned out it was my wife who was also biking home from her office. nyc is such a tiny place sometimes.

Hair is everything to a girl.

My name is Anne and I’m the kind of girl who’s not afraid of taking risks. 

A month ago I decided to dye my hair for a bit. An ombre dye - half natural color and half brown dyed hair. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy for me to do it because I really have a jet-black hair ever since I was born, I’ve never dyed it before and my mom won’t like it if she knew that I dyed it. However at the end, I still did it.

And then once upon a night, when I was really really bored, I suddenly cut my bangs! I’ve been thinking about cutting it for so many months now but I’ve been hesitant because this specific cut might not look good on me. 

But luckily my friends liked it. They said it looked good on me. Hurray! And also, I didn’t know I have a good cutting skill when it comes to hair. HA HA!

Then, out of nowhere again I decided to color my hair fully. It was a risk, really. I used Loreal Paris ash blonde dye (their lightest dye). HAHA! I thought it will be too light but I liked the result! The color is amazing. I think it made my skin brighter. Anywho, they told me I looked more blooming. *wink*

This is a huge change for me since I’ve never done this before. But this change is amazing. I’m glad I won’t regret this change. HAHA. Now I’m even thinking about dyeing the ends of my hair red after my black hair grew so that it would be a black-brown-red ombre hair. Hahaha! Well, wish me luck!
