عن أبي قتادة الأنصاري رضي الله عنه، عن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: “‏ صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ إِنِّي أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالَّتِي بَعْدَهُ ‏“‏ ‏. سنن ابن ماجه و صحيح مسلم - حديث ١٧٣٠،١١٦٢

It was narrated from Abu Qatadah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah, I hope from Allah, expiates for the sins of the year before and the year after.” Sunan Ibn Majah English reference : Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 1730 / Arabic reference : Book 7, Hadith 1802

Subhanal-lahi wabihamdih, AAadada khalqihi warida nafsih, wazinata AAarshih, wamidada kalimatih. ‘How perfect Allah is and I praise Him by the number of His creation and His pleasure, and by the weight of His throne, and the ink of His words.’

La illaha ilAllahu, waHdahu la shareeka lahu, lahul Mulku, wa lahul Hamd, wa Huwa ala kulli shaiy'in Qadeer, SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar, wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi alaali alhatheem. rabbi igfir lee.

None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, alone, without any partner, to Him belong sovereignty and praise and He is over all things wholly capable. How perfect Allaah is, and all praise is for Allaah, and none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, Allaah is the greatest and there is no power nor might except with Allaah, The Most High, The Supreme, O my Lord forgive me’.

يَقُولُ اللَّهُ: “إِذَا أَرَادَ عَبْدِي أَنْ يَعْمَلَ سَيِّئَةً فَلاَ تَكْتُبُوهَا عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَعْمَلَهَا، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا بِمِثْلِهَا وَإِنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ أَجْلِي فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً وَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعْمَلَ حَسَنَةً فَلَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ حَسَنَةً، فَإِنْ عَمِلَهَا فَاكْتُبُوهَا لَهُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا إِلَى سَبْعِمِائَةٍ ‏"‏‏.‏ صحيح البخاري حديث ٧٥٠١ - صحيح مسلم حديث ١٢٨

Allah says, ‘If My slave intends to do a bad deed then (O Angels) do not write it unless he does it; if he does it, then write it as it is, but if he refrains from doing it for My Sake, then write it as a good deed (in his account). O Allah! I seek refuge with You from severe calamity, a bad end, a bad fate, and gloating of enemies.

O Allah  place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure without punishment or account.

La ilaha illal-lah, wahdahu la shareeka lah(u), Allah(u) Akbar kabeera, Alhadullilahi katheera, wa subhanAllah  rabbi alAAalameen, wa la Hawla wa la quwwata illa billahi alAAazeez alhakeem. There is no deity except Allah, alone, without partner. Allah is the Greatest and Grand, Much Praise is for Allah,   [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds and there is no power nor might except with Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وارْحمني. واهْدِني ، وارْزُقْني
