NVM Gonzales was my favorite canonical author because at a young age, he helped his father by delivering meat door-to-door across provincial villages and municipalities. And still, he pursued his passion in writing and inspired so many people especially me 🤗 And even though he didn't pass the UP entrance test before, he never lose hope and his willingness had touched my heart. We should never forget NVM's literary works and try to read his stories, poems, essays and novels wholeheartedly. 🙂

My symbolism about overcoming barriers of effective communication is a 『 PLANNER 』 . I chose the planner as a symbol because we always have to prioritize and not forget the importance of everything like in communication. Like the upcoming activities that we put on a planner, it can be related to the preparation in knowing more about their cultures or differences. If we chose to prepare for everything we do or say, positive outcomes will develop between the people who communicate especially to those with different cultures. If we plan to consider and accept all our differences beforehand, imperfect but effective communication will occur. Since we're the one who plans or tracks everything, what we do or what we say will always reflect to ourselves. Lastly, a planning out can help you achieve a purposeful and meaningful communication 💝
